I'm a General Contractor, you can see my selective catergories.I use my services all over Oahu.I have my own subs Drarftsman, plumber, electrian painter, mason tilesetter and block setters. We also build and design.I have 4 employees right now use to have eight but it was too much over head like keeping it small.I'm always on the jobsite. My billing procedures are simple we ask for 50 % down and and 20% when we get so far and so forth, you hold the last percentage until final walk thru and sign-off.Their is 1 walk thru to make a punchlist of what needs to be corrected,we go in and finalize it.If theres a problem we sit down and get to the root of the problem, I'm straight forward easy to talk to.

"They did an excellent job. I had an emergency leak once and he even went out to the store and bought the part for me and barely charged me for it. He installed a large flat screen tv on the wall and did a great job on that. I have used him several times and he was referred to me by my dad. He is very professional and I would highly recommend him."

Fencing questions, answered by experts

A metal fence can last for over 30 years if maintained correctly, though the exact lifespan varies by material. For instance, chain-link and aluminum fences can function well for 25 to 30 years, while corrugated metal fences may last up to 60 years with regular maintenance. The lifespan can be shortened by harsh weather, abuse, or lower-quality materials. Galvanized metal tends to last longer due to its protective barrier, whereas sheet and corrugated metal may rust faster than solid pieces.

In most states, it is a legal requirement to have a fence around your pool to protect both swimmers and pool owners. These laws can vary by state, city, and county, so you must research the specific regulations in your area before installation. The rules may also differ for inground versus above-ground pools, with inground pools typically requiring a full fence. Additionally, most homeowners' insurance providers will require a fence around a residential pool before providing coverage. As a general rule, it's always best to have a fence for everyone's safety.

The average lifespan of a wood fence is 15 to 20 years, but some can last for 40 years or more depending on several factors. The type of wood is crucial; for example, untreated pine may only last 5 to 10 years, while pressure-treated pine can last up to 20 years, and cedar's natural resistance can extend its life to 40 years. Other factors include local weather conditions, with wet and windy climates causing faster deterioration, and the quality of maintenance. Higher-end wood, metal posts, and privacy fence styles also tend to last longer.

The first step in choosing a reputable dog fencing company is to confirm that the professional has experience in your particular area and maintains positive reviews online. You should also check the Better Business Bureau’s (BBB) website to see if they have accrued customer complaints in the past. Additionally, you can ask the following questions to qualify the pro:

  • Do you have experience installing the specific fence material I want?

  • Will you pull permits for the installation?

  • Will you help get a survey done to make sure I build on my property?

  • Do you have a list of referrals?

There are many types of wood fencing that you can choose from. For split rail fencing, the most common wood types are cedar, pine, black locust, and chestnut. The best wood for you will depend on if you like the way a certain wood looks and the availability of the wood type in your area.

Most of the wood types you can find at your local home improvement store are good choices since they all have rot-resistant properties or are pressure-treated with pesticides. If none of the wood options speak to the look you’re going for, check out vinyl fencing.
