No, you cannot drive on concrete after three days because it has not cured enough to support the weight of a vehicle. Doing so will likely leave tire track imprints on the concrete surface and reduce its long-term strength. It is best to wait at least seven days before driving on concrete.

Yes, you can put too much rebar in concrete. Too much reinforcement can cause strain in the concrete, leading to cracking. Air pockets can also form in the gaps between rebar when concrete fails to fill the space properly. The placement and installation of rebar is a specialized skill, so consult an experienced pro before proceeding.

Lally columns do require some kind of footing to ensure they have a strong enough base to provide the support they need to deliver, and, at the very least, they need to attach to the floor below. Some contractors will just use the existing foundation as a footing for temporary Lally columns, while some circumstances demand that the expert install a new footing. Instead, try setting the terminal, gate, and corner posts with concrete and filling the line post holes with dirt. You’ll build a stable foundation without spending all afternoon mixing concrete.
