"Our basement has been leaking forever, probably since the house was originally built. Every time it would rain hard, water would seep in between the foundation walls and basement slab. After a hard rain, I would vacuum up 15-20 gallons of water with my wet/dry vacuum. We had a landscaping and irrigation company put in french drains to deflect rainwater, which didn't help at all. I called a few local companies but none *specialized* in basement waterproofing, so I called two larger regional companies to get quotes. We called AquaGuard and BDry, and got a quote from each. Both seemed professional, both had great financing options, but BDry came in significantly lower in price. Almost half the price of AquaGuard's proposal. We went with BDry. They completed the waterproofing in about 2 days, were very professional, and cleaned up pretty well when they left. It's been over six months since we had the basement waterproofed, and we haven't had a drop of water in the basement since. Now that we are confident the basement won't leak, we started finishing the basement. Plumbers cut the concrete to move drain lines for a toilet and shower, and accidentally cut into the BDry drain lines. BDry gave me an entire section of the corrugated drain and piece to connect it so my plumber could fix it, and they didn't charge me a dime. Their service is awesome, and I would recommend them to anyone with basement waterproofing services.

I had wall anchors installed, and helical piers to brace my leaning chimney and one down-slope corner of my house. Also had separate crew, Logan, Noah, and Bernard, follow with waterproofing. Brandon, the job foreman, Blake and Junior were the core team, and they were joined by specialists over the 5 days of the project. Brandon and Blake did a great job of keeping me updated on progress and managing my wife's & my expectations. "They're a subcontractor for Home Depot. They did everything. They were fine. If there was something wrong, we called Depot and then they came out and fixed it. So, there was no problem with that. But the only other thing was, there was a little problem at first, with the inspections. They weren't quite up-to-date with what had to be inspected and what shouldn't be inspected and that sort of thing. One guy came in here and it was the wrong inspector and they were going to go along with it. At first, I was a little bit upset about that. So, I called up on my own and talked to the inspection department and got it straightened out because it was going to cost an even bigger amount than I paid. They came back here and they said we had to put hardwired fire and smoke detectors in the house because we were remodeling. I said, I was remodeling one bathroom, not the house. So, we got that straightened out. The price was pretty high. They had good guys who knew what they were doing. It was just one of their inspectors.

"Tracy Allen, the Campbell's representative, was courteous and easy to contact if we had any questions, etc. Ours was a long drawn out process spanning 2-3 months due to involvement of our insurance company. Tracy would check back with us periodically for updates which I appreciated since I'm old and forgetful. Also, since much of our problem was due to a leak around the chimney Campbell's made it a point to place and secure a tarp over this area while waiting to complete the job thus avoiding any more water damage to our ceilings, etc. All and all it was a good experience..... As good as it gets spending a lot of money for a roof. Tracy will tell you that they aren't the cheapest, but they are the best..... And my deal is I don't mind paying a bit more for something if it's done right the first time..... And I'm afraid to say that is an exception rather than rule these days.
