Charles Home improvements is a remodeling company, for over 15 years . Bathroom, kitchen, our specialty is tile work, kitchen backsplash, flooring, master bathroom shower, patio, fireplace ect... FLOORING TILE AND HARDWOOD [email protected] 678 975 2506
"We needed a full renovation of our bathroom in order to accommodate my wife who is physically handicapped and is unable to navigate over ANY barrier in the bathroom. I needed a bathroom that met her needs AND was designed appropriately for use by non-handicapped visitors. Charles from Charles Home Improvement came to the house and truly listened to my somewhat complex needs including a bathroom with no curbs, no shower doors, or walls. After meeting with him he gave me a bid which was most reasonable. The staff he hired to do the floor and wall tile, plumbing, counter tops, cabinets, and doors were very professional. The work was top quality. I enjoyed watching them work each day to accomplish the vision my wife and I had. With GREAT effort they completed the work ON TIME and ON BUDGET! A bathroom that is bright, modern, and completely ADA compliant .... and a bathroom that looks great! Charles Home Improvement is a wonderful company with great people. Without reservation I can give Charles Home Improvement my highest recommendation. Bruce W."

Devin is committed to excellence in every aspect of our business. My family and I recently relocated from the Chicagoland area to Northwest Georgia; with over a decade of carpentry, light plumbing and light electrical experience. The majority of my work is helping homeowners complete small projects and tasks inside the home. I find the most satisfaction helping busy families, those wishing to improve their homes but lacking the skillset to do most tasks, and those with physical challenges that just need a hand getting things done. We uphold a standard of integrity bound by fairness, honesty, and personal responsibility. Our distinction is the quality of service we bring to our customers. Accurate knowledge of our trade combined with ability is what makes us true professionals. Above all, we are watchful of our customers' interests and make their concerns the basis of our business.
"Devin has completed three different projects including installing grab bars in the shower and hanging a barn door. His work is first quality and is professional in every regard. If you need a carpenter or handyman I strongly suggest you contact Devin."

"Very professional, completed the requested project to perfection. Very prompt, clean, it was as if he was ever here when he left. He was also very patient. Easy to work with! I think he went out of his way to assist me since I believe I do live a bit out of his area, so I really appreciated that he came out here and did such a great job! He was also very fairly priced!"

"The contractor was hired according to his quotation after vetting other contractors recommended by Angi. He collected payments through Zelle and cash in various installments, as acknowledged in his invoice, to perform the services outlined in his quotation. However, he failed to complete any of the work. The new roof he installed, which he claimed was sourced from a reputable roofing company with a 30-year warranty was negligently installed and could not pass Georgia's code test and inspection. He was informed that we are selling the property and he even recommended a buyer. He failed to complete any of the work in his quotation and refused to respond to repeated requests to cone and complete the work. We have no choice but to engage another contractor recommended by Home Depot. We have the property under contract, with closing scheduled for February 12, 2025. During the due diligence period, the buyer ordered an inspection, which revealed that the new roof LeClair Renovation LLC supplied and installed did not meet Georgia code requirements. The contractor was informed of this and he admitted to the poor quality of his work. Furthermore, he refused to provide a warranty from the roofing company, despite stating in his quotation that the roof would come with a 30-year warranty. To proceed with closing, we have engaged a professional roofing company to inspect the roof and provide a quote for its replacement. Additionally, the other work outlined in the quotation was abandoned by the original contractor and completed by a contractor recommended by Home Depot for painting. This contractor provided us with an expired insurance policy to convince us to hire him, which we later discovered was fraudulent. All evidence related to this transaction, including videos, text messages, and other documentation, has been thoroughly recorded."

10+ years of experience in carpentry, we create furniture, built-ins, jewelry boxes, frames, artwork and other fine carpentry products, specializing in using upcycled and sustainable materials.
"I highly recommend Mark with Goose Egg Woodworking! He is exactly the kind of contractor you hope to work with. He made a beautiful custom kitchen table and a built-in window seat/shelving unit for me.ni get compliments on both all the time! He was so great to work with - he was knowledgeable, experienced, and has an artistâ s eye. He is truly talented at woodworking and he obviously cares about his clients. He went back and forth with me a ton as I peppered him with questions and wasnâ t quite sure what I wanted. He was patient and thoughtful based on my needs and preferences. He also works very quickly and his prices are fair. I trusted him throughout the process (enough to hire him again for another project, and I plan to hire him again should another need come up!). I canâ t recommend him enough!"

Building a custom closet costs about $2,000, on average. Because many types, sizes, and designs are available, the cost to build custom closets ranges from $250 to $6,000 or more. A reach-in closet is on the lower end of the price range from about $250 to $1,500, compared to a walk-in closet at $750 to $3,500 or a wardrobe at the high end between $1,500 and $6,000 or more.
The main difference between a closet and a wardrobe is that a closet is a separate room for general storage with its own door, and a wardrobe can be either built-in or freestanding place to store clothing. A walk-in or reach-in closet connected to a bedroom often serves the same purpose as a wardrobe by primarily storing clothes and shoes. A built-in wardrobe often does not have doors and leaves clothes exposed to view, whereas a standalone wardrobe usually has doors.
You may need a building permit to add a closet, depending on the size and kind of work required to install it. The most likely scenario requiring a permit involves changing the structure of the house and performing electrical work for closet lighting. A permit can cost between $100 and $450. If you’re installing a smaller reach-in closet, a permit may not be required, but always check with your local municipality and consult a closet designer or builder.
Different types of closets are defined mostly by size. A few different types of closets include:
A reach-in closet is a smaller closet that you can stand in front of and reach everything inside it. Aside from the size, the doors and the level of drywall finish are typically the largest price factors.
A walk-in closet can be anything from a small 5-by-5 feet closet that has a narrow walkway with shelves on both sides to a 100 square foot bedroom-sized closet with shelving along the walls and plenty of room to move around in.
A built-in wardrobe often does not have a door and leaves the clothes and other contents open to the room, whereas a closet usually has a door to separate it from the rest of the room.
Yes, building a custom closet can definitely add value to your home. Creating a more useful and pleasing space to your home, especially a custom closet for prospective home buyers to imagine as their own, is likely to increase the value. However, avoid overdoing it with a closet that takes up too much space that’s otherwise more useful as living space, or paying extra for overly lavish materials and finishes that aren’t likely to add more value than they cost.
