"Everyone was very professional and friendly. Eventually got to a reasonable cost with a little back and forth. Windows look great!! Looked the follow up and QC appt to ensure everything was properly installed. A little hiccup with my plantation shutters but they are working to fix that promptly."

"Had an exterior tear down and all new Hardie board, soffits, and fascia installed and painted along with new gutters and a screened in porch glassed in and enclosed. Chuck managed the project front to back and did an amazing job with thorough follow ups along the way. Any minor issues were taken care of without push-back. Make a Choice work crews were on time and worked like crazy all day long. They were professional and courteous. Should I require future service in their area of expertise, they have earned my repeat business. Great job by all."

"We were selling our home so we needed to make some needed repairs. The AquaGuard team assessed the issue and new exactly how to fix it. Their solution is far better than mud, but be forewarned for a mess during the work because it’s a messy process. However they cleaned everything up before they left, and our walkway and brick steps were level and good as new! Thank you AguaGuard."

Glaziers questions, answered by experts

Standard mirrors come in many different shapes, sizes, and thicknesses, so you can often find a great fit for your space without adding customizations. Custom mirrors are ideal if your space has very specific constraints. For instance, you may need a much longer or wider mirror than you can find in a standard mirror. You might also want a custom mirror if you have particular styling preferences, such as a frame with a specific finish or a unique edge.

The best way to transport wine glasses is to pack them upright in a divided, padded box designed specifically for stemware. First, wrap each glass individually with bubble wrap or packing paper, ensuring both the bowl and the delicate stem are cushioned. If you don't have a divided box, you can still pack them safely. After wrapping each glass and securing the material with tape, place them upright in a sturdy box. Layer soft items like dish towels, crumpled paper, or clothing between the glasses to prevent them from touching. Fill any remaining gaps with additional padding to keep the glasses snug and prevent shifting. Finally, clearly label the box as “FRAGILE GLASSWARE” or “FRAGILE–HANDLE WITH CARE” to ensure careful handling.

The best way to pack mirrors is to use specially padded cartons or boxes made for mirrors. Be sure to thoroughly wrap the fragile mirror in padded paper or bubble wrap before sliding it into its box. That way, there’s a protective barrier in between the mirror and the box. Then, fill in any gaps with crumpled paper or additional packing materials.

Clean regularly with glass cleaner and a soft cloth. Avoid abrasive materials to prevent scratches.

Generally, large bathroom mirrors that have been secured to the wall with glue require a multistep removal process. By taping the mirror with masking tape or duct tape, you can potentially prevent dangerous shards from falling as you loosen the mirror. A heat gun or other heat source may be needed to loosen up the glue before it can be freed using a wire saw. With glued-down mirrors being the most dangerous to remove, it's wise to hire a professional instead of handling glass on your own.
