"I was quoted $125-150. When the tech got there, he charged me $57 to put the crystals on the fan. I would have done this had I known I would be charged to put it together!!! Other than that, he was right on time, professional and quick. The fan looks great. I would recommend this company! Just thought $57 was a lot to put crystals on!"

"My a/c wasn't blowing cold air the tech, Andrew, showed up and got right to it. He found the problem (the capacitor) and got it replaced in less then 30 minutes. It's working like a charm now. He explained everything as he went along and was top notch professional."

"Hired this company to repair my ceiling fan after my home warranty company assigned a contractor who stated the repairs were not included in my contract. After meeting Greg Hayes, he did a phenomenal job with fixing my ceiling fan, which took only a matter of minutes to diagnose the problem and fix a burned out wire. Also, he was very knowledgeable with recommendations and other tips within the home. Definitely will hire this company again, especially if Greg is still working."

"Nevill did a fantastic job. I hired him to install two ceiling fans. He's very professional and courteous. Price is reasonable! I just love that there is no dispatch charge for which a lot of well-known and big electrical companies will bill you right off the bat. It does not matter if it's a standard common job. They won't quote you, not even a price range, when you try to shop around. I will definitely hire Nevill again!"

"He was very professional and seemed to actually care about the project. He installed recessed lighting and the wiring that was previously completed was a mess. He came back twice to make all the repairs, installed a ceiling fan and even replaced the ceiling tiles. He was also very reasonable. I would recommend him to anyone looking for a good electrician."

Ceiling Fans questions, answered by experts

No, a ceiling fan doesn’t have to be wired to a switch, but it’s often more convenient. You can use the included pull chain if your ceiling isn’t too high or install a remote module later, as they are a cheap, easy-to-install option that’ll let you control both the fan and light fixture.

Coffered ceilings often come with additional embellishments and accessories, including tin panels, medallions, trim, molding, recessed lights, and finials. Whether you’re looking for a simple grid pattern or want an elaborate, decorative ceiling with all the bells and whistles, there are plenty of options to choose from.

Ceiling fans offer multiple benefits for your home. They improve air circulation to prevent stagnant environments and provide cost-effective temperature control, which can reduce reliance on your HVAC system and help lower utility bills. In addition to their functional advantages, ceiling fans can also enhance a room's aesthetic appeal with features like built-in lighting and modern styling.

To convert a ceiling fan to wireless, you’ll need to install a canopy module to access the lighting and fan controls. Many options are available, all of which help you control specific elements of your ceiling fan, so you have plenty of choices depending on your needs.

Many ceiling fan mounts feature a design that can accommodate slight slopes by using a ball joint mechanism at the end of the downrod. If your ceiling has a steeper slope than your fan allows for, you can install a downrod that will allow your fan to safely hang below the slope.
