"Bear Mountain Painting is top notch in customer service! From the initial estimate to the completed renovation, our satisfaction was their priority. We were unable to be onsite but the repairs and updates to our home were handled seamlessly. The job summaries were clearly outlined and the proposal/estimate was exactly as shown. If additional repairs were needed, they contacted us immediately and we discussed the options and price. There were no hidden surprises at the end of the job. Rob and Sonja were a pleasure to work with and each email/phone call received an immediate response. Jeff, Dan and the crew were amazing. The job was handled with efficiency and quality work. We are thrilled at the transformation of our home after the rotten wood replacement, pressure-washing and painting. And the final clean-up? The crew left the site in better condition than before the job started. It was absolutely beautiful. Not one nail, scrap of trim board or even a slip of paper was found. We will be repeat customers of Bear Mountain Painting and highly recommend their services. You will be pleased with their professionalism, attention to detail, and standard of excellence."

"Victor showed up as scheduled and cleaned the tile and grout in the kitchen and nook area as requested. It looks like new, my wife was VERY pleased with the results. You don't realize how dirty your tiles are until you see them after they've been cleaned. We opted to apply the sealant ourselves, but in hindsight should've just paid Victor to do it. My aching back. :) We would definitely use Guaranteed Services again."

"The crew was very good, they have addressed all my concerns, did a very good job painting walls and ceilings in my house. They have cleaned everything up and put everything back in order. The price was very reasonable and the quality of the work very high. I have already recommended them to my friends and will not hesitate to use their services again."

Sandblasting Services questions, answered by experts

Sandblasting is a common method for removing paint. It works great if the underlying material is tough. This is because you can then use more abrasive sandblast materials, making the paint removal process much faster and less expensive. If you plan on removing many layers of paint on smooth surfaces, you’ll need to be more careful about which materials you choose to use to sandblast.

You can concrete can be done when it’s wet or dry. However, it’s safer when wet, as harmful dust and chemicals are present. Sanding it when dry is faster, but you’ll agitate more dust and chemicals, meaning you’ll need to be more careful.

Sandblasting removes old paint, rust, and grime efficiently, providing a clean surface for refinishing.

Soda-blasting systems are slightly more expensive than sandblasting systems. To soda blast, you’ll need to spend a few hundred dollars for a blast hose and nozzle, a compressed air supply, a blast generator, a moisture decontamination system, and sodium bicarbonate media, a recurring cost because the powder is not reusable. To start with sandblasting, you will need to spend upwards of $30 for a blast pot, a blast gun, an air compressor, and sandblasting media, many of which are recyclable—further reducing the cost. The total cost for either will depend on the size of the system.

Costs depend on paint type, surface condition, labor, and required prep work for repainting.
