"This was partially my mistake, but I ended up paying for a garbage disposal I did not need. Not until the new disposal was installed did the installer test to find out that the problem was not with the disposal itself, but with the wall switch to turn it on. So I spent $299 for a new disposal that I didn't need. It was my mistake, I guess, because I didn't realize that it could be something else and I prepaid for the new disposal. But learn from my mistake...before you pay for something, you should really check and confirm the cause of the problem. Don't assume that the company you hire will do that automatically. I assumed they would clue me in to what else the problem could be or at least ask what the problem was before installing this. Live and learn... Would I hire them again? Yes, but only knowing that I can't assume that they will do the diagnosis prior to repair or replace. Also, when they called to confirm the appointment, the man who called told me there would be an additional dispatch fee...when i told him that the service was portrayed as all inclusive on Angie's List, and to talk to the owner...he came back and told me they would wave the fee. So again, the customer must really be on his/her toes and object to hidden fees."

"These workers are no strangers  to hard work. They performed this job under freezing temperatures and in a confined and dark area of my basement. They went to extra extremes and additional work to keep from tearing up my yard. The clean-up was outstanding. If you have a serious water problem in your basement, this is the company you want. "My vehicle broke down on a Friday evening. I spent the weekend searching on Angie's List for an Auto Mechanic. I decided to use Eddie's Automotive Service in Lilburn, GA. I had my car towed to there location on Monday afternoon and it was fixed and ready for pickup by Tuesday afternoon. They were prompt and very professional. I will definitely use them again!!"

"Jean-Claude and his crew did the demolition for all three bathrooms. They were great about putting sheets down to protect our wood floors. The crew was great, and very respectful of our space. They were punctual and very easy to have in our house. The demolition went well. They did find a rotten subfloor, which was not in the original estimate, but he explained the cost of repairing and replacing before taking any action with us. He also gaves us suggestions to replace the old door and windows in the bathroom(s), which was also not part of the original estimate, but again, he explained the cost and was fair about not charging us for the extra labor to replace these things to make the space aesthetically pleasing.
Jean-Claude pays very good attention to detail, and was good about calling us when there were questions about preferences, or to explain different options to complete certain tasks. He has passion for his work, and cares about the project as if it was his own home. What more can you ask for in a contractor?
In the end, we love the tile work they completed, as there was a lot. One of the bathrooms' tile was uneven, and they used the wet saw to trim the tile to make it even (sometimes only 1/16 of an inch)-not their mistake, but their fix to make sure we were happy with the work they did. They made sure that every detail was taken care of before completing the job, and hired a maid service to clean up the house to get rid of the construction dust. While they didn't meet our deadline, it was not their fault, as the rotten sub-floor in one bathroom and un-even tile were honest setbacks that no one planned for.
I would definitely hire Jean-Claude for future projects. He and the team were great.

"Scheduling the appointment was quick and efficient
and Rob came out this afternoon to do the work. He was very courteous
and professional and after completing the job he gave me some good tips
on what can and cannot be put into the garbage disposal.
I also had Rob give me an estimate to replace an 18 year old gas water heater.

"Hometown Restoration did an excellent job repairing a leak caused by our adjacent neighbour. They used a dehumidifier to dry out the wood before removing and sanitizing a section of the rock sheet.
