"This was partially my mistake, but I ended up paying for a garbage disposal I did not need. Not until the new disposal was installed did the installer test to find out that the problem was not with the disposal itself, but with the wall switch to turn it on. So I spent $299 for a new disposal that I didn't need. It was my mistake, I guess, because I didn't realize that it could be something else and I prepaid for the new disposal. But learn from my mistake...before you pay for something, you should really check and confirm the cause of the problem. Don't assume that the company you hire will do that automatically. I assumed they would clue me in to what else the problem could be or at least ask what the problem was before installing this. Live and learn... Would I hire them again? Yes, but only knowing that I can't assume that they will do the diagnosis prior to repair or replace. Also, when they called to confirm the appointment, the man who called told me there would be an additional dispatch fee...when i told him that the service was portrayed as all inclusive on Angie's List, and to talk to the owner...he came back and told me they would wave the fee. So again, the customer must really be on his/her toes and object to hidden fees."

"Had a problem in the guest bathroom the commode was leaking which caused a leak in our basement. We installed a pail to catch the water and called Mr. Clean Drain Plumbing Inc. right away. Arlie and Frankie showed up within a day and solved the problem immediately. While here we also had them fix a leak in the tubing for the hot water tank. "Overall, it was a good experience. AAA put down a vapor barrier and installed a Santa Fe dehumidifier with sump pump. The result is that we can now use the stand-up basement/crawlspace to store things under the house without ruining them. This is the part that you need to know. The installation was not without problems. First, they broke an A/C drain pipe, second, they cut a sprinkler controller wire while running a PVC pipe. Here's my take, accidents happen but how does the business respond to these issues? Well, Donna was very quick to send her team out to correct the problems and they even paid for the damage to the sprinkler system. To me, that's top notch customer service. Any business can make a mistake, but how they handle it is the mark of a good company. Every time I lift the roll door and go into the basement now, I'm amazed at how cool and fresh the air is down there. No more mildew and no more smell."

I hired Image Renovations to finish a job that was started by another contractor that I fired for poor workmanship and severe lack of professionalism.  Image Renovations and Jean Claude were great.  I was living in the house and they were flexible around my needs to still be able to live in the house.  On one occasion, after they opened up a wall and found leaking pipes left by the previous contractor, they stayed late to fix the problem and make sure I would have running water.



During the work I checked in frequently and Jean Claude would explain to me what they were doing and why, as well as share his ideas on how to do some things related to tile.  All of his suggestions worked out great!  As with any remodel (and per "This Old House) when you start tearing things out you find surprises and need to add this into your budget.  My experience was no exception but when these things occurred Jean Claude presented options that were reasonable in cost and minimized the time required to resolve.
