"MWT Windows provided an exceptional experience from start to finish! Their professionalism was evident at every stage of the process—from the initial consultation to measuring, scheduling, and installation. Every team member I interacted with was courteous, knowledgeable, and highly professional. The window installation itself was outstanding. The attention to detail was remarkable, from the quality of the windows to the expert wrapping of the wood and precise sealing of even the smallest cracks. The final result was essentially perfect! I couldn't be happier with the job they did. If you're looking for a company that delivers top-tier service and craftsmanship, I highly recommend MWT Windows. Amazing work! Dennis E."
"PEOPLE....If your tint on your windows is dark, HAVE IT CHECKED!! I bought my SUV a few years ago and had been driving it for a couple of years before I got stopped by police. He used a device to chk the tint and I got a ticket!! :( I said all that to say.... If you need new tint, CALL SCOTT! It's been a while now, but I called him just after lunch on a Friday, before a holiday weekend, and at the beginning of SEC football season.(ROLL TIDE!) Scott said that he would re-tint my SUV before he left town as he would be on is way out to his own favorite SEC football team's game. He came to my house, was on time, did a fantastic job, and the price was super reasonable!! A+++ all the way!"
"Nelson Aluminium Products first came out to measure my windows for screen replacement. They came out just a few days later with perfectly measured screens. For the living room, we opted for the BetterVue screens, and they are worth the additional cost. Can't even tell there are screens in the window, except if you are right next to the windows. Highly recommended."
"We have 5 big glass picture windows and an upper panel of a small window glass repair/replaced. When I called Jessica, and with the windows measurements sent to Jessica, she was able to give me an estimate within a few hours. Jessica was great and provide greats customer service. The work was done quickly and professionally. David and his assistant were a good team."

Installing energy-efficient windows costs between $325 and $2,000, averaging about $400 per window. You’ll have to consider cost factors like the window’s size, frame material, and type. Labor costs in your area will also impact the overall cost of the project, with window installation professionals charging about $40 per hour on average.
Different types of energy-efficient windows include:
Single-hung: $150–$2,500
Casement: $150–$600
Double-hung: $250–$3,000
Picture: $200–$650
Bay: $480–$1,920
You will need about half of a caulking cartridge to caulk one window. The average home has eight to 10 windows, so you would need about 4 or 5 cartridges to caulk every window in an average-sized house. However, you may not need to caulk all the windows at once. If just one window has a pesky draft, you may only need half of a cartridge to fill in the gaps.
Window screens can help keep some heat out of your home, which is one benefit of using them in summer. It’s also the reason experts suggest removing your screens in winter—so it’s easier for the sun’s warmth to filter into your home. This will keep you cozier and potentially reduce your heating bills.
Yes, you can remove window tint from house windows. You can either use heat to loosen the film before peeling or scrape it away with a blade. You’ll also use a solution to wipe away any adhesive that still clings to the window.
Casement windows can either be left or right opening, and every window manufacturer makes both so that you can choose which works best for your space. In many cases, you’ll want one left-opening and one right-opening casement window to sit on either side of a picture window or to act as the side panels in a bay window. Just remember that the direction is described from the curb. An FCL (from the curb left) hinges out to the left if you’re looking at the exterior of your home, and an FCR (from the curb right) hinges out to the right.
