"Scott was prompt to respond to the initial request for an estimate and was on time for his scheduled appointment.  He was knowledgeable about the various options and his price was the most reasonable of three estimates received.  The day he came to tint the windows, he was again on time and completed the service in a timely manner.  I would definitely recommend Scott to anyone wanting interior windows tinted.

"David and his assistant were great. I was notified when they were on their way. They removed a large mirror and replaced 2 windows. I could not be more pleased with the work. I would definitely use them again."

Windows questions, answered by experts

Vinyl window frames are by far the most popular window frames in modern homes. Many favored vinyl frames due to their affordability, durability, energy efficiency, and various colors and styles. Single-pane vinyl windows range from $200 to $900 per window, and double-pane vinyl windows range from $400 to $1,500 per window.

Yes, you can replace the frame around a window by completing either a partial replacement or a full replacement. With a partial replacement, your window specialist will remove the trim around the window and replace or repair just the damaged portion. For a full replacement, your tech will need to remove the window, replace the frame, and then reinstall the window.

Most homeowners prefer to service their windows during the spring or fall when temperatures are the most bearable, and having large openings in your wall won’t drastically increase your heating and cooling bills. However, while these seasons are the most convenient, you’ll also tend to pay more for window repair due to the increased demand. If you want to reduce labor costs, consider making window repairs in the off-seasons. Avoid waiting until the heart of winter to do repairs, though, as you could run into leaks and heat loss issues.

Yes. Thermal pane windows can be customized to fit a variety of different window sizes and dimensions. A contractor or manufacturer can usually offer custom sizing options based on your specific window requirements. You should consult with professionals who can assess your needs and provide the appropriate custom window solutions for your home.

Yes, caulking windows is worth it. Because moisture and air leaks are big sources of common window problems, caulking can be an inexpensive and easy way to eliminate both water and air from getting in.
