"I asked Thaxton Construction Llc to look at my roof and give a quote on a new roof. I wasn't sure how old the roof was but knew repairs were needed. Mr. Thaxton advised the age of the roof, suggested necessary repairs and gave me two detailed quotes to decide between a new roof or repairs/maintenance to extend the life of the existing roof. "Excellent. Started on January 26th and expected to take 2+ days. Arrived at house at 7;30 am and began removing old shingles. New shingles and associated materials arrived by 8:00 am. On site was a Project Manager who has the GAF Factory-Certified Master Elite Roofing Certification, a Foreman and one roofing crew. The temperature was in the low 40s and around 10:00 am it began to drizzle. The Project Manager proceeded to bring in a second roofing crew to expedite the work. Under very adverse weather conditions on a very steep roof, work continued until 7:00 pm when it became too dark to safely work on the roof. By this time the new roof was approximately 98% complete. The next morning, one crew returned to complete the roof and thoroughly clean up the worksite. I found the workmanship and work ethic by everyone on site very impressive.
