He has worked in two personal homes installing all new hardwoods on the entire main levels and in the hallway upstairs and master bedroom. Additionally, McEwan floors has refinished the hardwoods in a rental home for me. Each time, Jim was patient with me when I took my time trying to decide what color stain. He often put several stain colors down for me to look at and decide on. He works diligently to get the job done as quickly as possible. Hardwood flooring install is a hard and messy process. I did not live in the home at the time the hardwoods were being installed so I can not attest to that experience. We needed repair to the house due to a branch spearing the back of it. His quote was reasonable and he was willing to come on Monday. The repairs were finished in a short time. My son thought to ask about our upper deck railing and the front board that was bad on the lower deck. Again we were given a reasonable quote and the work was done that day. To my surprise he replaced all three sides of the lower deck and added shoring. For the upper deck he enclosed the corners and it looks amazing. I will definitely keep him on speed dial for future work."
