I honestly will never use Angie's List again. I initially inquired about removing the carpet adhesive from our floors and finishing the concrete as it was. Mr.King followed up with a phone call and texted pictures of his previous work. I sent a picture of what look and finished I wanted on the floors. He said he could accomplish the look in the picture I sent him. I paid $1200 for the deposit and we set a July 7th date. Installment day came. They grinded the concrete down and vacuumed it, laid the stain and sealer. The floors were black! The stain was splattered alllll over our walls and windows. There were gaps of uneven concrete on our floor. He said he was done and demanded payment. We demanded he fix his mess! On July 12th, Mr.King and crew returned. I looked at the floors and the black is showing through. The product is laid uneven. I showed him & Mr.King Swears it will resolve when it dries. It HAS NOT. He was not the guy for the job. No Kings Quality At All, Waste of money

I was referred to Kings Quality Epoxy by Home Advisor. I contacted the owner and made the decision to allow him to come to my home and apply epoxy/poly to my garage floor. He emailed me an invoice for a total cost of $2,293.07. He said that I needed to pay him $ 1,375.84 upfront using a company called Square. So I paid him thru that. The provider came on Saturday August 12, 2023 to put down Epoxy/Poly concrete covering on my garage floor. They did not do a moisture test before preparing and doing the floor. They prepared my concrete floor with a handheld grinder. They then swept it out and put the first coat on the floor. They advised me that it would have to set for one hour before applying the final coat. They left and came back to my home in about 20 to 25 minutes and started applying the final coat. It was not an hour before this process began. As they were putting the final coat on the floor the epoxy/Poly started peeling off the floor. They were not sure what to do and was puzzled as to what was causing it to peel off the floor. I asked them what they were going to do . They said it must have been to cold and that is why it was peeling off. They said they would have to come back on Monday to correct the problem. In the mean while they decided it must have been a moisture issue. The owner said that if he would have known that my floor had moisture problems he would have never had started doing the floor. They came back on Monday August 14, 2023 to correct the problem. I was not able to be at home that day due to the fact that I had to work so I was not here to actually see what they did. However, when they finished the owner texted me a picture of the floor and ask me to go ahead and send him the final payment using pay pal. He needed the money right then. He said " I need the remaining payment to get back on the road and run payroll. Having to come back and get double the product put me in a hole so I will need that payment to gas up and get everyone back". So I sent him the final payment of $917.23 thru pay pal. After a day the floor was different colors. One side of the floor was dark and the other parts of the floor were a much lighter shade and dull finish. I called the owner and told him about it. He ask me to take pictures of the floor and send to him. I did. He denied that being the same floor. He said "I don't know what that tint is on the floor. It looks like it needs to be mopped. That can't be the floors color. " I told him that yes it was. He offered to come back and do a mechanical grind on the floor and put epoxy on it again but it would cost me more money. Another 800 and some dollars. I decided not to allow him to do that and besides that according to his invoice they had a 10 year warranty. In my opinion they should have been willing to come and fix the issue at no additional cost. Also, I went down to the garage last Saturday (September 2, 2023) with another Epoxy coating company that has been in business for several years and there was a small piece of epoxy that was not adhered to the floor and discovered that it pulled right off the floor. The entire epoxy coating just pulled right off the floor just like pulling tape off the floor. I have photos. The owner of the other business said to me that he was sorry that I lost money by using these people. He said that in all of his years of doing this that he had never seen a job done so poorly in his life. Yesterday (September 10, 2023) I sent an email to the owner of Kings Quality Epoxy and also texted him asking for a full refund. He said " I understand but I put 4 coats in all on your floor when it was supposed to be 2. I told you I can repair it but already took almost double what you paid me in a loss. I have a warranty for installation problems. Such as delaminations and peels. Having moisture in your walls and floor I shouldn't of installed it anyway. So the color thing can be moisture coming up while its curing. I can't do anything about that. I still managed to get it installed with the extra coats. I can come do another coat to even the color. But I'm not in the position to refund a whole project. I already spent more money to do than was paid." The invoice just said 10 year warranty. It does not specify what kind of warranty.

The King team showed up and finished both projects in one day. They were very professional, courteous, and help, answering all my questions and concerns. The finished product looks GREAT! Couldn't be happier; I have already recommended them to several neighbors and friends. Thank you for a beautiful job done well.
