McEwan Flooring

I love working with Jim and McEwan floors! They have actually done several projects for me. He has worked in two personal homes installing all new hardwoods on the entire main levels and in the hallway upstairs and master bedroom. Additionally, McEwan floors has refinished the hardwoods in a rental home for me. Each time, Jim was patient with me when I took my time trying to decide what color stain. He often put several stain colors down for me to look at and decide on. He works diligently to get the job done as quickly as possible. Hardwood flooring install is a hard and messy process. I did not live in the home at the time the hardwoods were being installed so I can not attest to that experience. But if I had, I know that Jim would have worked very hard to complete the job as quickly as possible. Lastly, McEwan's crew is respectful and trustworthy, and I definitely recommend McEwan floors to install your real hardwoods at a fair price.

I’ve used Jim McEwan for four jobs - 3 homes had complete refinishing and one had just a screening and revisit. Jim’s prices are great and his quality is awesome. He’s old school- uses the oil based stains and top coats which are much more durable than water based in my experience. This takes him much longer to do the job but he doesn’t pay more than the guys who use water based and rush it in half a day. Very reliable and honest.
