  • Hopkins the Handyman
I couldn't ask for more. They showed up on time, finished ahead of schedule, and stayed on budget. Easy to work with and quick responses to my questions. I also had them out to clean my gutters and do a quick downspout repair; they happened to be in the area so literally came out within an hour of my contacting them! They will do you right, don't be afraid to give them a call. Decent work at a fair price. You can't ask for more
  • Capital Fence
The company reps and entire team were professional and collaborative from the first call to the end of the project. They worked with my picture ideas, provided advice, and worked with our landscape challenges; continuing to evolve until we decided on our final plan. They are busy but got our project in and were always accessible and prompt with answering questions. Their price point is very good considering the great quality of their work. They went beyond at the end to turnover an exemplary product. Appreciated their honesty, transparency, and ease to work with. I will use them for future projects

  • Adam Free Multi-Services
AFMS's tagine should be, "There ain't no traffic jam on the Extra Mile"... This company went the extra mile and did so with a smile in spite of challenges encountered during the installation of the backyard privacy fence. Lots of granite rock to dig through and engineering a solid, beautiful gate while working with existing chain link and 60 yr old concrete. The crew was very professional and respectful, nice hardworking young men. The fence is beautiful and they made sure all work materials and debris were fully removed. It was a pleasure working with Adam and I will be hiring again for installing a ranch fence for front yard. Adam takes pride in his craft and delivers a professional business plan

  • SOS Roofing & Construction
They were very professional and informative during their initial visit. They handled almost everything and all I had to do was pick what color shingles I wanted and then pay when it was done. Same for my fence. My old fence was starting to rot so I had them replace it for me. I picked out what color stain I wanted on the fence and they took care of the rest. I 100% recommend hiring this company as they will do all they can to make sure that you are happy with the service and product you receive

  • Stine Construction
Great customer service! Affordable pricing. Nicki maintained contact through multiple projects for my home. Austin the owner is a honest and trustworthy person who is very knowledgeable about all aspects of the industry. Rachel the sales manager helped walk me through the process and was very helpful with helping us decide which products and colors were best for our project. I'll always use Stine Construction. I can't praise them enough

Skip and his team were excellent! He responded promptly and made sure to answer any questions we had. Everyone was very friendly and professional. The work was completed on time. We would definitely recommend!

  • Dog Ear Fence & Repairs LLC
Could not be happier with the work that Jacob did to repair the Facebook marketplace disaster that we had. The fence looked like someone drunk installed it and the gates for my RV driveway were almost non-functional. Jacob added a walk-through, rebuilt a 12’ gate, installed a run of wood fence, corrected the existing wood fence, and repaired chainlink that was taken out by a tree. I will be recommending him to everyone I know! He got the work done quickly and took all the mess with him. Couldn’t be happier

Fencing FAQ

  1. How much does it cost to install a fence?

Answer: The average cost to install a fence is $2,600. A variety of factors will impact the overall cost of fencing installation, such as the length of the fence, the materials you choose, and local labor costs. Fencing projects using the lowest cost materials and with lower labor costs can cost as little as $1 to $6 per linear foot, while projects using the highest cost materials and with higher labor costs may be as high as $15 to $45.

  2. Do I need a permit to build a fence around a yard?

Answer: Whether you’ll need a permit to build a fence around your yard will depend on your city or county's local codes. Many metropolitan and suburban areas require a permit to install most fencing, but they may not for fences situated behind a house as opposed to in front of it or fences that don’t run within a certain distance of the road. To find out if you’ll need a permit to fence your yard, reach out directly to your local government office.

  3. What is the cheapest fence to install?

Answer: The cheapest fencing to install is chain-link fencing. Chain-link fencing is typically cheaper than other fence types because the materials cost less, and installation is generally quicker and easier than other options. Chain-link fencing is affordable, easy to install, and low maintenance. However, it’s usually considered less secure than other options and doesn’t increase resale value as much as fences made of different materials.

  4. Is a wood or vinyl fence cheaper?

Answer: Wood fences are generally cheaper than the cost of vinyl fences. While the cost of materials for wood and vinyl fences is usually very similar, the labor cost associated with installing a vinyl fence is higher. Wood fencing is also easier to install than vinyl fencing, making it possible to save money by making wood fence installation a DIY project. It’s also possible to DIY install a vinyl fence.

  5. What is the life expectancy of a vinyl fence?

Answer: Vinyl fencing can be expected to last between 10 and 30 years. Vinyl fencing is generally low maintenance, but proper care will ensure it lasts as long as possible. Its long life span and high return on investment make vinyl fencing a popular option for many homeowners.

  6. What type of fence adds to the property value?

Answer: Installing quality fencing, no matter the fence type, will generally add value to your property. In general, fences made of longer-lasting, lower-maintenance, and more attractive materials—like wrought-iron, composite, or vinyl—add more value to a property than fences made of lower-cost or less attractive materials, like chain-link. To ensure your fencing adds as much value to your home as possible, be sure it’s properly permitted, approved by your homeowners association (if you have one), and installed properly.
