Our lead mover/driver, Dave, was awesome. I have never seen anyone work harder to complete the move-in in a fast and efficient manner. Despite the challenges of the Manhattan location, Dave and his partner Chris never complained. Dave was always positive in his attitude. District Relocators has my high strongest recommendation. Page RelocationPage Relocation Services made our move the easiest one we have ever done. Every single penny was worth it. Utmost professionalism from start to finish. First the account manager came by our house to give us an accurate quote. He let us know what we would need and what we wouldn't. No BS. They checked in with us the day before and the communication was excellent. Moving crew showed up when they said they would and got all our stuff moved out promptly. If there was anything of ours that was already scuffed or scratched, Mr. Stephen checked with us to make sure we already knew about it. The crew moved everything into the new house and put it all up where the boxes were labeled. I don't think one thing touched a wall in either the old house or new one, and that's moving with moving some large items. You get what you pay for when it comes to moving companies. I would have given a lower grade, but the gentlemen on our team were really nice. However, we were originally quoted at $3600, and ended up paying almost $5000. Big difference, that we really couldn't afford. This was their mistake- a miscalculation of what we needed, yet we paid for it. They worked quickly and efficiently and again- really nice guys. However- No other moving company we've hired have ever asked for tips, much less put MUCH emphasis and pressure on it. This is not a minimum wage job- tips were not something we budgeted for. On top of the aforementioned increase in price as we went along, this was difficult to make happen. And then it was implied that what we could come up with wasn't enough. Very importantly- nothing was broken and the leader was a magician in maneuvering some awkward pieces in awkward places. But it has been cumbersome locating cords and bases to tvs because they weren't packed together or properly labeled, making the unpacking far more challenging. They were very responsive, but late every single day. Like most establishments- there are pros and cons. I hope they take this as an opportunity to improve their service as opposed to an attack on their quality of work, because that is not the intention.

These guys are simply the very best! Great attitude 150% customer service. They worked hard and fast for almost 12 hours making a very difficult move work as seamlessly as possible. The price/value cannot be beaten. Amazingly the shrink wrap almost every item so your furniture arrives with no real possibility of having been scratched and damaged. It just does not happen. Highly recommended you cannot go wrong!
