"Rick was excellent! He made sure to explain things to me and even asked questions to make sure I would be pleased with my installations. He did top-quality work, was thorough, and even faced a few â older homeâ challenges with patience and a smile. It might also seem like a small thing but he did a great job cleaning up afterward. Needless to say, Iâ m very satisfied and happy with the work they did for me. I wonâ t hesitate to hire them again. Hire Hi-Five and ask for Rick. You will not be disappointed!"

"They did an excellent job cutting down the trees I needed and it storm the next day and I felt so happy. The scary tree was gone. I just ask the guy to cut a branch and he said he would and didn't. That is my only complaint. But overall I would recommend them and hire again."

Arborists questions, answered by experts

Any cutting of tree roots can hurt or kill a tree, which is why it's recommended you don’t do it unless the roots are damaging or invasive on a nearby structure like your home. You should never cut more than 15 percent of above-ground tree roots at one time. If you have any questions about cutting tree roots, contact your local arborist.

When a palm tree no longer produces new fronds and old fronds start turning yellow-brown, that’s a sign the tree is dying. However, transplanted palm trees can show these signs for the first several months as they re-establish themselves. It’s best to keep watering and not give up on the palm tree until a couple of seasons have passed and you’re sure it’s not coming back to life.

Any tree that needs to be pruned should be pruned to remove dead branches at least once a year. You may need to prune far more often if you’re trying to maintain a certain shape or to save a tree that suddenly becomes infected.

Deciduous shade trees (the type of trees whose leaves fall off in autumn) need to be pruned in late winter—between February and March. That’s because it’s easier to find and remove sick or dead branches when no leaves are present. And wounds close and heal faster in colder temperatures so pruning them at this time also makes them less prone to infection.

It is good to spray water on a Christmas tree to help keep the needles hydrated. Spraying a Christmas tree with water prevents dryness, stops needles from falling off, and reduces the risk of fire.
