They were a pleasure to have them work (remove Koi fish from the pond into a holding tank, remove all existing water, clean pond and all filters, clean skimmer, replace new water into the pond and return Koi back into the pond) in our back yard. "Kim Nelson of Nelson Masonry took on a difficult job that others were afraid to tackle and did an outstanding job. My renovated front entry required that the tile be stained and sealed. Unfortunately, my builders finished the stone on the landing in one color, and the landscape architects finished the walkway in a lighter color. I went to several stone and masonry companies and no one wanted to deal with the problem of trying to redo the walkway. I am, like most people, emotionally and financially invested in my home, so after being told by several companies that they would not guarantee that they could get a good result, I worried about anyone trying to redo this job. I then spoke to Kim Nelson who was very honest about the problems of trying to redo someone else’s work but agreed to experiment with a small corner of the walkway to see if the change was feasible. After testing the stone to see if he could get a good result, he redid the lighter part of the walkway and the results were beautiful. I recommend Kim Nelson for his professional knowledge, his honesty, and his ability to interact with clients. If Kim is busy when you call, he is well worth waiting for."
