I am so thankful Donald with Atlanta Tankless responded! He came out on a Sunday within just a couple of hours of our call. He looked at our existing tankless system and offered us a couple of options as to what avenue we could take depending on if we wanted to repair or replace. At no time was there ever any pressure to do one or the other. He simply laid out the choices. We ultimately decided to replace the system as it was older, we had issues with it before, and we didnà  à ¢à  à  à  à  t want to do a patch job only to have to repair later anyway. He was absolutely awesome. Professional, kind, and the fact that he was willing to come out on Memorial Day Sunday when other companies flat out refused makes him a star in our book. "Carl, the plumber, was prompt and extremely cordial. He took the time to explain what he was doing and how to avoid repeat problems. He also took the time to check out what we thought might have been another plumbing problem, and made suggestions of things to do to avoid the plumbing problems which can occur as a building ages.
He cleared the kitchen drain, ran enough water several times to makes sure that it was draining properly, and left the area clean and dry. As an aside, in chatting with him he explained some of the factors that go into the costs of plumbing and why the service charges can result in high "sticker shock". While that does not necessarily reduce the impact of plumbing cost, I very much appreciated that he took a few minutes to provide me with a perspective I had not considered.
As I have other plumbing work that will need to be done in the near future I will certainly give these guys first crack at the job. And with the discount provided by the Angie's list promotion I got away with a fraction of what I had feared the call would cost. In all, I am exceedingly happy with American Service Specialists.
