"Jonathan was very easy to work with. He was very timely and eager to meet my expectations. He made any changes to the design that we requested. He was very knowledgeable and made some very good suggestions for the remodel design. He also was very receptive to my ideas. Even long after the design was completed he checked in with us to see how the project was progressing. He also made suggestions to for designers when I needed help with colors, design changes etc. Very pleased with the results from Jonathan."

"I experienced the utmost in professionalism and creativity! They were very responsive to what I envisioned for my place and gave me assistance and support throughout the whole process, including advice when needed. The Peaches and Cream team made themselves available whenever needed and provided needed reassurance when I waffled on some of my decisions. I would unequivocally recommend them to anyone needing interior design services and decorating."

"Very well. The slight dip in the kitchen looks better and the doors trued up. The slight sag still in the kitchen floor is because of the sub floor plywood which I didn't want to get in to. They leveled the joist by shimming the tops of several cinder block posts and installing a pair permanent of steel posts under a section of joist the previous owner had cut in two."

"I feel extremely fortunate to have found Vicki through Angie's List !  She is an extremely talented person who is very easy to deal with. She has a breath of knowledge that allows her to accommodate my tastes, but also ensure that the overall design is in sync with the design and location of my home.  She has  a very diplomatic way of suggesting when I'm going astray with my choices and in every case where she has told me "Trust Me"  I have been delighted ! She is very aggressive in helping me find the best pricing and often times will work with the vendors directly  hence saving me the time.  She also has excellent local contacts.  Everyone I've worked with through Vicki has been timely, professional, and highly competent.
My project is far from complete.  I intend to continue to use Vicki and her expert advice until the end !!!!"

"The sales experience was a bit different.  The owner takes a little getting used to but really knows his stuff in terms of basements.  He took a number of measurements and offered me two alternate solutions for my basement - a cheaper sump pump based system and a higher cost gravity system that would avoid the need for pump maintenance.  I opted for the gravity based system.  He also reviewed a competitor's design and explained very accurately why it wouldn't work (the other salesman was very nice but made a complete mess of his submission by placing the sump at the highest point on the floor and didn't give me a gravity system option!)

The crew that AAA sent were absolutely fantastic - incredibly polite, helpful and professional; they even dismantled a bathroom for me that I was going to redecorate.  The job took 7-8 days which reflects the quality of the work they put in.  I wasn't happy with the finish on one wall and they immediately rectified it - no questions asked.  If I owned a contracting firm, these are definitely the guys I would want to be employing.

While the job wasn't the cheapest quote I received I definitely feel I got a high quality job done by a company that really cares about customer service.

Remodel Design questions, answered by experts

Yes, designing builds to fit space constraints and meet functional needs.

Pros provide detailed quotes and efficient management, reducing overspending risks on materials and labor.

While concrete walls do not need to "breathe" in the traditional sense of the word, they do require waterproofing and dehumidifying methods, particularly in basements below the water table. Concrete both contains moisture from its initial installation and can absorb water when exposed. Ensuring proper basement ventilation , installing a vapor barrier, and controlling water exposure are all important tasks.

Yes, integrating sustainable practices and energy efficiency into plans is common.

You can draw your own house plans using three-dimensional modeling software, but in most cases, you’ll need an architect to draw up the final plans. Architects understand local building regulations and requirements, so their plans will be necessary for getting permits approved, and they’ll also ensure your home is structurally sound. DIY house plans can be a good place to start to help visualize your project, but you should always defer to a professional before trying to proceed with the project.
