"Everything went great. Our project was a roof replacement. Paul was very professional & thorough explaining the process and material options, followup and answering any questions/concerns we had. We liked the quality of the product he offered. He was present during the actual installation. We highly recommend him."

"I love doing business with sole proprietors who are passionate and knowledgable about their craft. Not only did they approach our lawn care with deep proven scientific approach of soil testing to truly understand the work, they knocked it out of the park when they do flower planting for us. We have a few beds that were so well planned that as spring keeps going the beds keep popping up new varieties on their own without replanting. We are over joyed everything we come home to see it. They dont take many new customers so you would be lucky to have them take you on."

"Walker Landscaping was very professional and friendly. They gave us a good outline of work we requested and a good price. Our main problem was leaky basement though and we contacted previous contractor that had worked on problem but didn't see the extent first time round. We wanted them to correct the problem."

"Awesome job! One door had a flaw in it which was not noticed until installation. They acknowledged it and replaced it, but at least I had a door in the interim. Would definitely rehire!!"

Snow Removal questions, answered by experts

The best time to buy a snow blower is typically around May to early June. This is when most manufacturers introduce new models, and quantities are limited—once early summer rolls around, the focus shifts to lawn mower production. As the new models are released, you may find a wider selection of models, potential discounts or clearance sales on older models, and greater availability, ensuring you are well-prepared for the upcoming winter season.

Costs depend on property size, snowfall frequency, and additional services like de-icing or hauling snow offsite.

Snow can be too heavy for a snow blower and cause clogs in the chute. However, having the correct type of blower for the snow conditions can reduce the chances of it being too heavy for it to handle. Another trick for preventing clogs is to make multiple passes while it snows rather than waiting for it to finish snowing.

Snowblowers come in three different sizes: first-, second-, and third-stage blowers. Each additional stage is larger with higher intakes, more powerful, and has more gear options.

A first-stage blower, also called a snow thrower, is usually best for snow 6 to 8 inches or below. Electric snow blowers are usually only available in this size. If you regularly get snow that’s well above six inches, consider a second-stage snow blower. If snowstorms dump 2 to 3 feet of snow repeatedly during winter, you need a third-stage snow blower to tackle it.

The fastest and most effective way to remove snow from a driveway is by using a powerful snow blower, such as a two- or three-stage model, which can clear the area in minutes. Other helpful options include a snow thrower, a wheelbarrow plow, and even a leaf blower for lighter snow. If you need immediate help, consider hiring a professional snow removal company to take care of it for you.
