Five things that really set him apart from other contractors we've worked with in the past were 1) we had to live through the construction and Moran took great measures to minimize the disturbance to our living areas, 2) Moran has a great eye for detail and sometimes noticed things that I had not, 3) when there was a very minor issue, Moran was upfront and proactively let us know that he made a mistake and was taking care of it, 4) we weren't completely satisfied with the work of one of the sub contractors and Moran had them re-do it, and 5) on several occasions, Moran would call to let us know that there was some unexpected issue, but in the same conversation he would also let us know he came up with a solution and took care to it. All of that was very reassuring. Bottom line, Moran was extremely reliable, professional and great to work with. He clearly communicated where we were in the process and the time frame for the rest of the project. We are about to start a much larger construction project and look forward to working Moran and Vered Renovations again."

"Allen designed and made a custom barn door for our laundry room which was made of sapele wood and finished with only linseed oil. We supplied the hanging hardware and Allen was able to hang the door and also adjust the molding around the original door (removing hinges, etc.). His work is creative and precise. He takes great pride in his work and won't stop until you are satisfied. He also made a custom newel post and altered the entire railing assembly for our stairs. He does beautiful work. Happy to provide pictures, but I don't see where I can attach them. I lean on Allen all the time for custom work and he never lets us down. Be aware he is in high demand, so you may have to wait to get your help. He also makes custom furniture, which I've seen in person and his craftsmanship is second the none!"

Company was right on time; showed up with 2 workmen. They worked really fast, splitting up the jobs. Originally I only was going to have 3 jobs completed, but they finished those so quickly I added a fourth (I was lucky and glad I had an extra job ready; it was one I was going to do myself). Even with that, the workers were finished within about 45 minutes.

All the jobs were completed perfectly, with the exception of one. I had told the worker that I wanted the new shower head installed because the old one was leaking. When he installed the new one, it still leaked. So, I had to hire another contractor to fix that. Technically, he did exactly what I asked, but I did mark down one grade on quality because it didn't fix the problem, which I had told him about.

The workers cleaned up everything pretty well.

If you use the company, make sure you have every part, even the smallest washers, nuts, and bolts, for the job before the workers start. As far as I know they carry no parts at all, only tools.
