Paid deposit. Never heard from him again. Tried calling and texting. No answer.

Fully paid. Promised to come back and install cabinet rollers. Contacted through messages,phone calls over 3 months did not respond.

What's there to tell? Professionally done, start to finish. Fast and efficient. Made Home Depot and Lowe's a total waste of time and money.

I am very satisfied with the work that was done. He did an excellent job! He was friendly, courteous, and smart. I would hire him again.

I hired Arthur to change out 9 interior doors and 1 closet with sliding doors. When I went to the Home Depot to look at doors the customer service person said, installing door slabs are more complicated than you would imagine, you need to hire someone with experience, so I had trepidation hiring someone for this project. This said, I found Arthur who said he had a lot of experience with doors- and let me tell you he does. All 9 doors he changed out turned out great. He also painted them and attached new door hardware. He is very professional - he showed up exactly when he said he would. Arthur is that rare contractor where doing a great job is more important to him than the money. I would definitely hire him again.

He is a nice guy, to begin with. But he really did not do a good job on the project. We asked for two interior doorways to be reframed, one sliding door to be installed, and one solid wood door replaced with a new similar solid wood door. When the install was done, he had done a fine job on the sliding door install but had not reframed either of the doorways and the solid wood door he installed was a light, hollow-core door that hung out of level in the door frame, with a 2-inch gap between the bottom of the door and the floor. I asked why he had not reframed, and he said he did not remember anything about that, just installing two doors. He then proceeded to ask a question about the reframing process that I had to remind him he had asked the same question during our quote walkthrough. I said it is fine and paid the amount owed, but asked for another quote for the reframing. He said he had sent me another quote the next day. Have not heard from him since. He was a pleasant guy to talk to during the process, but I just cannot recommend him given the quality of the work produced. Unfortunately, we were going to have to find another, probably more established door installer, to redo the work he is done because we have a 2-inch gap under our master bathroom door and that is not acceptable. Sorry man.

â Intelligent Craftsmanâ , indeed! I am a single woman and own my own home but donâ t know much about home repairs, unfortunately. I had 2 prior quotes to replace my exterior and storm doors. I noticed that I was going to be replacing the doors with doors that looked identical to the ones I had but assumed that the doors, which are 12 years old, had just reached their life span. However, Mr. Arthur took one glance and said that I didnâ t have to replace either door! He said that the doors were perfectly fine and went over all the things that he would do to restore my current doors to the standard that I wanted. It all sounded good but I must admit that I did NOT think he would be able to do everything he was listing but the price was EXCELLENT so I moved forward. He remembered every single little detail and showed up on time with all the required parts. Worked hard all day, tried to minimize noise, told me about a few other things around the work site area that he could help with, which I love as itâ s hard to get workers to my area in midtown Atlanta. He never even used the bathroom or accepted my offer for something to drink! Just extremely efficient and tries to lessen his impact being in a clientâ s personal space. I have 2 other doors and I have already made plans to have him come back to fix those and anything else he can assist with. Beyond happy and impressed!

Mr. Gordon installed interior French doors in our home. He is extremely talented and skilled as a master carpenter. His attention to detail and craftsmanship is exemplary. Equally important, he is very personable and more than fair. My husband and I will definitely hire Mr. Gordon again for other projects. I would give him more stars if I could!!!!

I own a 1950's home that has settled. I wanted to replace the entry door and knew that it wouldn't be straightforward and without interesting complications. Arthur came to quote, looked the situation over, discussed potential issues and quoted time and cost. His assessment was pretty much spot on, every issue discussed was encountered, and then some. He was quite prepared for all of them and didn't really seem too challenged at all. He would have made his time estimate also had i not continually distracted him with conversation. Fortunately he didn't charge me extra for entertainment! Overall I'm very pleased with his knowledge of carpentry, his attention to detail, and his ability to provide great quality service. Yes, I will be calling upon him again.

Arthur did an amazing job on repairing our door. His knowledge and honesty was refreshing. I was expecting to have to do a complete replacement of my door. However, he analyzed the situation and decided he could repair the door, instead. The repair looks great and you can't tell where the damage was before. Highly recommend!!!

Arthur arrived on time and completed the work on doors as estimate.
