"Everything went great!  Josh Tatum was the technician that i met with and i was impressed by his level of knowledge in reference to pools and new equipment options that i am interested in.  I had him over to ask him about how the pool should be set up for winter, since this is the first year of me doing this on my own, and also what to do about the installation of our new Ozoneator that had died this past summer.  He had some real good ideas.  I will have them come by and do the install work along with filter cleaning next spring.  One thing i really did like was that they had a person answering the phones in the office.  The last pool service company I used, was huge pain to get a hold of.  I would recommend this company to friends.

"Pete is a pleasant surprise in the pool maintenance field.  He offers a high quality, personal touch service and a very affordable rate compared to the larger, more established pool companies in metro Atlanta.  After our pool was installed, I interviewed 6 different pool companies including the service branch of the company who installed the pool and found that Pete was over $100 per month less expensive than anyone else in the field.  He services the pool consistently on the day we agreed to, he brings his own equipment and chemicals and always leaves the pool looking perfect. He took care of brushing our newly installed Pebble Tec daily for 2 weeks as an "extra" service and only charged us $120.  When the leaves were falling at their peak (and we have many trees surrounding our home), Pete was having to come 2 - 3 times per week to keep up with the volume and yet he never charged us for the extra work.  I can't say enough about how much we've enjoyed working with him so far and look forward to a long working relationship.   I highly recommend him.

Sauna Installation questions, answered by experts

The primary difference between a steam shower and a sauna is the type of heat they produce. A sauna generates dry heat using electricity, while a steam shower creates wet heat from steam, resulting in nearly 100% humidity. A steam shower typically replaces an existing shower, has an opening at the top, and operates at a lower temperature (around 90-120°F) than a sauna, though the high humidity can make it feel just as warm. It is advisable to limit steam sessions to 20 minutes. In contrast, a sauna is a fully enclosed space that can be placed anywhere in a house and produces dry heat.

A home sauna may be considered a luxury item by some homebuyers, which can provide a good return on investment. However, whether it increases your home's value ultimately depends on the buyer, as some may not want to take on the extra costs and maintenance associated with heating and upkeep.

Considering the cost of tools, parts, and hiring assisted labor, building your own sauna can cost almost as much as purchasing one. It is less expensive to buy sauna kits, since they are premade and easier to set up. Still, you may need to hire a professional to assist in electric or plumbing installation.

It will take several hours or more to build a sauna. A prefab kit will take anywhere from three to 20 hours to install, depending on complexity and your skill level. If you’re doing a custom build, it can take more than 50 hours—especially if you need to add ventilation, ductwork, and other renovations.

Most people will opt to put their home sauna outside near a pool or on a screened-in porch so the heat doesn’t move into the rest of the house. If your house has enough room, you may choose to put it in a bathroom so you can shower right after.
