"Angelo, of Remedy Plumbing,was most professional, knowledgeable, kind and considerate. He was patient and answered and explained all of my questions. Why you would want something a certain over another. He went the extra mile. The Service Manager Mike was also very kind, considerate and very helpful with my questions and concerns. I finally have a sense of peace that my sewage issues have been addressed and my toilet will work properly now after 6 other plumbing companies could not resolve. They were head and shoulders above my previous experiences on this very same issue for the past year and nine months! I am truly grateful to have found them. "Wow.......I am so impressed.....Last Saturday I waited all day for another  plumber that was scheduled who  called me 2 times always telling me he was on the way.........Ended up arriving 5 hours late with an attitude, saying his GPS was broken and I gave him wrong directions.............so did not allow him to enter the home.
I called Jim..........he set an appointment.....He gave me a rough estimate based on what I knew had to be done, although I totally understood that once he saw the repair, this could change if more extensive work needed..........And, he even showed up on time and called to confirm he was on the way.
Price was as expected and work done perfectly and efficiently.
The most impressive thing was   COMMUNICATIONS......I could talk to him and he totally understood what had to be done.......No language issues and misunderstanding.  And he actually did know how to follow directions..........
I would highly recommend Jim.......To find an honest and reliable plumber is such a joy........

It is okay to use a drain auger on a toilet, just make sure you are using the correct tip size. This repair might take less than an hour for your pro, but note that many providers have a minimum rate for a house call. 

First, check that you have cut off the water supply to your toilet. This is a project that can only be done safely if running water cannot reach your toilet fixture. If you're seeing water trickle out after you've confirmed that the water supply is shut off, you can probably rest assured that what you're seeing isn't a problem. It's common for leftover water to spill out when you're removing your toilet's fill valve.
