"What great brothers and absolutely the best at what they do! They cut trees down, cleared under brush, made a steep slope not so steep, planted grass, pulled some bushes up. Graded around a 60x40 concrete pad and leveled it until it was even and then put gravel around the entire pad. We both are loving the way everything looks and turned out! Thank you Zack and Patrick! We will definitely use your company again!"

"We have been in my home for 17 years. The backyard did not look like it did when they were done. Our backyard is bigger. Josh and Alan made our yard look amazing! We had so much overgrowth it was unreal, and it looked like it was going to engulf our home. The backyard was never easy to mow, and it always had this small look to it from the design of the development company. It was cluttered looking. See we had shopped around for a while and were not pleased with what we ran into. We put in a search at Home Advisor and they popped up. We are so incredibly happy with our selection of Gordonâ s Southern Land Management. They are Pleasant, Professional and a breath of fresh air to speak with. They arrived on time when they said and taught us so much about our land. They were not bothered by my questions about the equipment or about certain areas in my yard. My husband laughed at me because I was like a kid at Christmas watching them work. They did exactly what we discussed in our 1st consultation, but to me they did so much more. They are also highly informative and explained so much to me about my yard, even gave me visions for the yard. The Goat was amazing to watch at work ( not a real goat)! The best way I could explain my back yard was a wild area, a Jungle. Josh and Alan came in trimmed, shaved, cleared, and leveled a working canvas of opportunities for us to create our dream backyard. As I gaze upon my finished yard, I cried because it is so beautiful, and in the time of COVID-19 I can find peace and serenity in my backyard away from the world. I can never say it enoughâ Thank You So Much Josh and Alan for everything you both have done.â I would and have recommended people to them and will continue to do so! Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for giving us back our backyard. I promise to take care of it. Ms. Cheryl"

"Ben trimmed plants , Remove debris . Removed weeds, applied fertilizer. Other jobs I needed help with. He was always on time, worked quickly, and always happy and fun. I recommend him to several friends in Del Webb who really liked the work he did for them. Any business would be fortunate to have him."

"We were so fortunate when PJC Construction responded to our need. They are super to work with. We wanted one person to do every project we were planning including painting kitchen cabinets, bedroom, installing flooring, installing kitchen counter tops, back splash and French door. And for our next project of a concrete slab with a pole barn. Reliable and excellent work. Would highly recommend them!!"

Excavating questions, answered by experts

To drill a shallow well, you may be able to use a drive well point. This is a tapered point that is driven into the ground. A drill bit at the end of PVC pipe may be another option to consider. A lot of the cost depends on what tools are available near you.

Depending on the severity of the freeze and the method used, thawing frozen underground pipes can take anywhere from 30 minutes to several hours. Applying heat directly to the pipe using heat tape, infrared lamps, or hot water jetting can speed up the process. However, patience and careful monitoring are key to avoiding pipe damage.

If you don’t have a crawl space but have a partial basement you want to make deeper, you can expect to spend a little less—between $40,000 and $90,000 on average. However, if you’re not adding new finished square footage, you won’t see much in the way of ROI.

A trench that is less than 5 feet deep often doesn't require a protective system. Most residential trenches will not go this deep (the typical residential drainage trench is just 18 inches deep). In the event that an excavator needs to dig more than 5 feet beneath the surface, a protective system is required unless the excavation is in entirely stable rock.

Sewer lines can be buried anywhere from 18 inches to 8 feet deep, with a common average depth between 18 and 30 inches. The exact depth depends on local factors like climate and soil type. In colder regions, pipes must be buried deeper (below the frost line) to prevent freezing, sometimes as deep as 8 feet. The digging depth can also impact the cost of sewer line replacement. To find the specific depth for your property, you can check the building plans for your system, which should be on file with your city or local sanitation department since permits are required for installation.
