"Company is very over-rated, gouges customers especially senior citizens. My condo is on the 14th floor and I was having problems with a washing machine backing up. I called Meetze, signed an annual service agreement, and paid $862.63 which included a $89 service agreement. Meetze ws not only to solve the problem in my condo but also was to review the pipes "on the other side" of the wall owned and controlled by the condo organization which was included in the $862.63. This, however, was not included in the final report. So, I called the manager, explaining all of this. He sent out two other technicians who also charged me $118 to check out the condo pipes owned and controlled by the condo organization. When I attempted to explain I had already paid for this, the personnel indicated there was nothing they could do about the situation. Then I experienced water back-up in a bathtub and drainage stop-up in my air-conditioning unit two other technicians came out and charged me $355 (took them all of 20 minutes to unstop the air conditioning drainage and they basically did nothing about the bathtub except to come in and use a plunger to make sure the commode was not stopped up and recommended a new stopper for the bathtub. They were "drainage specialists: and would have to re-schedule someone else to come out and replace the bathtub stopper. shame. Never call them is my recommendation. I certainly will not be using them again without some refund of the $1,335.63 I have paid!!!!!"

"Initial install of building sewer, water lines and bathroom toilet and sink went very well. Our problem began with the two small inline under the sink hot water heaters which they provided under their contract and installed. Both heaters, however, exceeded the electrical capacity of the building both in amperage and wire gauge, but were installed regardless, but not tested. Our breakers would flip within a minute after turning on the hot water. We requested that the hot water heaters be replaced with something that met the electrical specs. After 3 months of requesting recommendations for a solution, none was provided. In order to move ahead with the final building inspection I purchased two small under the sink small (2 gallons or less) hot water heaters for under $300.00 (total) and had Twin Systems install. Big mistake! I did not expect a bill for this rework (at least not for the labor) but was charged $900.00 ($875.00 of which was for labor to install the two heaters that I had provided). Furthermore, one replacement heater still remains unworkable since the cord requires a plug which Twin Systems cannot connect since they do not do electrical work, and suggested that I hire an electrician. I was never provided an estimate for this rework, only a bill, and was reminded recently that if the $900.00 bill was not paid in full soon that I would be charged late fees."

Residential and business water treatment systems. Water softeners, UV lights. We will analyze your water for contaminants such as chlorine, low pH, iron, bacteria, and devise a system to suit your needs. Treat your water from the source, as it enters your home, so whether you are drinking it, cooking with it or bathing in it, your water is pure.
"The process was quick and easy. I just provided a water sample. It was determined that I had high levels of chlorine in our drinking water. I was able to solve my water problems with only one filter. Why did I wait years to have this done? Now I can be confident that our water is safe. Highly recommended."

The license requirements for water softener installation depend on your location. Some municipalities require that the installer hold a plumbing license, some require a permit and an inspection, but no license for the installer, and some require a permit and a license for the installer. Regardless of the local laws in your area, it’s always a good idea to hire a licensed plumber or installer. These pros will install your system properly and have the experience to size the system appropriately. Use Angi’s state licensing tool to check your installer’s license status.
Water softeners are worth the money if you live in an area with hard water. Hard water is safe to drink, but it poses serious threats to your plumbing system. The minerals in hard water will gradually build up on the inside walls of your pipes, reducing water flow to your fixtures. The minerals can also gradually corrode your plumbing system, reduce its lifespan, and increase the risk of leaks. Hard water also makes soap and detergent less effective. Water softener systems can solve all these issues, making them a great investment.
It’s possible to install a water softener yourself, but we don’t recommend it. Water softeners require working with copper pipes and electrical wiring, neither are suitable tasks for most DIYers. Plus, working with water and electricity together is dangerous and could pose a risk to your safety. Water softeners also need to be calibrated so that they don’t make your water too soft, as soft water poses just as many risks as hard water. Overall, it’s well worth hiring a local water softener installer to place your water softener system.
The cost to install a water softener system is $1,500 on average, ranging between $200 and $6,000. The labor for water softener work typically costs between $150 and $1,000, so you can add that to your equipment costs to get an accurate total. Your price will depend on many factors, including the following:
System capacity
Home size
Water hardness levels
Type of water softener
Presence of electricity in the installation area
Local permit costs
Your water softener size is based on your total household water consumption. In most cases, you can assume the average household member will use around 75 gallons per day. Multiply that by the number of people in your home, then multiply by 10 (for the typical grains per gallon). You’ll get a number in grains that should help roughly size your water softener. However, it’s best to hire a professional to install your system and use more exact numbers, like your exact average water consumption per day and starting water hardness.
