"This was a relatively painless process. Our initial meet was great. We originally thought we wanted spray foam insulation, but after meeting and talking with Alex, we chose to upgrade the insulation we already had as he felt that the spray foam was not appropriate for our home. The gentlemen that came to our home were on time, and did a great job. I would highly recommend them to anyone needing new or upgraded insulation ."

"They arrived on time and worked diligently in the heat, thruout the day, insulating our attic space. They were thorough, respectful, and cleaned up after the work. We were very pleased with their work and the results!"

"We had several issues over the summer with our AC unit and Waylon was very responsive to our service requests. Diagnosis showed we needed a new system. I had issues on my end nailing down a solid install date, and he was very accommodating to my changing schedule. Install of the new system was fast and professional. They left the worksite immaculate, and removed all old items. Waylon and his team are true professionals and I will recommend to anyone who needs any HVAC work done."

"Chris was very professional and detailed. He went in our attic, took pictures, and showed us the places that need insulation. We scheduled a time for the job and it was done. He showed me the before and after pictures. Amazing difference. The men cleaned up after completing the job, we paid them, and we are happy with their work and work ethics."

Drywall Insulation questions, answered by experts

Whether it’s better to screw or glue drywall depends on your specific budget and project timeline. Professional drywall installers are more likely to use screws and fasteners than adhesives, but it takes longer. But if you are DIYing your drywall installation, glue is a perfectly fine choice if you’re willing to pay extra for adhesive.

According to the EPA, mold grows within 24 to 48 hours if left untreated after a water leak. So unless you notice the leak and stop it right away, you only have a day or so before mold is a real concern. If you don’t notice the leak, it can take about three weeks for the mold spores to become visible. That means you’ve likely had an active mold infection for a few weeks by the time you notice discoloration.

Plaster is a beautiful finish but is labor-intensive to install and remove. It’s vulnerable to cracking and more sensitive to moisture variance than drywall. Installing plaster on a new wall is an expensive process that can take days to weeks, depending on the scope. Removing a plaster wall can also be quite expensive and time-consuming.

If the holes in the plaster are small, you can fill them with layers of patching plaster until they’re filled. After it dries, you can sand the plaster and paint over it. If the hole is much larger, consider using bonding plaster first and then a layer of patching plaster, completing the process with sanding and a layer of paint.

You do not need to drywall over most types of garage insulation. However, doing so can increase noise reduction, make the space more attractive, and keep children and pets from touching harmful fiberglass insulation. If you’re using cellulose or some other type of blown-in insulation (fiberglass and mineral wool are common), you will need drywall to contain the insulation material.
