"Very well pleased with the tree service. Efficient service and well cleaned up when done with the job. The original job grew larger and the crew were able to complete all that I asked for. Thank you so much, I will definitely recommend you to anyone who is in need for some tree services."

"Jason was phenomenal - professional , courteous & forthcoming . The rubber tree was massive - in an awkward , difficult to reach location adjacent to the neighbors fence and our house . It was overtaking our yard and the roof . Jason went above and beyond to remove this tree without using heavy equipment ( which was not an option for us - we have dogs and could not remove the neighbors fence ). He gave us a fair price and went above and beyond to remove 7 trailer full of leaves that were in the yard prior to cutting down the tree . We would definitely use him again and would highly recommend him to anyone in need of a tree service . He’s a small business with an amazing work ethic- highly recommend ,"

"I hired Ron to clean up 2 of our store locations, 1 of which is a full shopping center, and also at 2 residences. This company does an outstanding job; they are knowledgeable and incredibly efficient. They were on time and communicated throughout the entire process at each location. the quote/pricing experience was clear, and the rates were more than competitive. I'd highly recommend Ron and his team for any commercial or residential project."

Tree Service questions, answered by experts

Some fast-acting products can rot a tree stump in four to six weeks. Keep in mind, these products contain harsh chemicals that may prevent regrowth in the area. Other products, like fertilizer that contains lots of nitrogen, can enhance the process and rot a stump in about a year. (This is compared to the ten years it can take naturally for a stump to rot.)

You may need permission to take a tree down. Check with your local ordinances about rules regarding tree removal and to gain any necessary permits. Check with your local ordinances or the fire department if you plan to burn the stump. Make sure you have all the steps in place before removing the tree, or contact a local tree removal service.

Maple trees start the growing season by developing small groups of red flowers where the tree's fruit, the samaras, will appear in the coming weeks. Later in spring, the samaras, which many call whirlybirds or similar names, develop into single-winged seed carriers that spin when falling or drifting in the wind.

In most cases, you should not use a pruning seal on trees after trimming. Applying a sealant can interfere with the tree's natural healing process, and it does not guarantee protection from pathogens. Instead of sealing the cut, the best practice is to support the tree's natural recovery by providing it with plenty of water and a dormant-style fertilizer. However, there are exceptions. Pruning seals may be recommended for very vulnerable species, like elm trees, in areas where dangerous diseases such as Dutch elm disease are prevalent. In these specific situations, the protection offered by a sealant can outweigh its downsides. For advice tailored to your situation, especially after cutting large branches, it is best to consult a local tree trimming professional.

A chainsaw is the best tool to cut down a tree, but you may also use a handsaw or ax. You may also want to use a lopper or pole saw to remove limbs before cutting down the tree. Wear chainsaw chaps and protective gear, including eyewear and earplugs if you use a chainsaw. Again, if you’re unsure about how to use this tool, this project may be one to skip.
