"I hired Dominic Badia to finish my ceilings that I took the popcorn off of. Dominic came over the day he called after I entered my info in HA. He was on time, very professional, very knowledgeable and very fair with his pricing. He told me exactly what he needed to do to make my ceilings smooth and the prep work that needed to be done. I hired him!!! He showed up on time, started working right away. It took 2 days to get the ceilings in paintable condition and I couldn't be happier!!! I also had a few holes I asked him to repair, you can't tell the holes were ever there. Dominic also covered up an existing fireplace with drywall and several coats of mud so I could make use of wall for my large TV. After talking with Dominic, I found out that he is also an amazing carpenter, so I hired him to put siding up on my screened porch. He quite the perfectionist!!! My porch looks FANTASASTIC!! "Amazing work on our kitchen backsplash! We have been working with PC & J for over a year on different projects in our home. They are of course highly skilled at drywall and ceiling work and they textured our walls and removed popcorn ceilings a few months ago. This latest job in our kitchen included installing a stack bond tile backsplash, which of course is an unforgiving tile pattern because you can see all the rows and columns aligned. Martin and Claudia took the time to keep everything straight even though our floors, countertops and walls were imperfect. They also installed floating shelves and the hood over the oven. Including support backing before they installed the tile. They are reliable, good hard workers and always produce amazing results. We hope to work with them again."

"1. The estimator who came to the house said that at the end, the owner, Rodney would come by to do a walk-through. He never showed up and after the job was started, never heard from him again. 2. The paint crew was a husband and wife, probably late 40s who spoke very little English. It was a daily challenge for them to understand what we were asking. 3. Every morning my wife and I would need to point out areas they missed or allowed paint to flow onto other areas. 4. They would sometimes move from one area to another without finishing that room. Example: after painting the living/dining room (walls and ceiling) and getting pain all over the crown molding which they painted the day before, they started on the laundry/garage entry hallway. We had to ask them to repaint the crown molding so we could move the furniture back in place. 5. Several times we had to remind them to also paint both sides of the doors. Why they would not do it at the same time...I do not know. 6. They did work very hard and were polite and courteous. We absolutely had no problem with their work ethic. They were supposed to caulk areas that needed it. They did not until we pushed them to do it. Holes in the wall were supposed to be speckled, repaired, and painted. They were only painted over. I re-did them myself and will paint them.. 7. My office was the last and they blew thru it like a tornado. In many areas where the wall & ceiling meet, you can see old blue paint anywhere from 1/4 to 1/2 inch wide. 8. When they finished and packed up the wife was going around the house using a measuring wheel. When asked why she said they are contracts and get paid by square footage. Then she said all look ok...I need to check for the balance. My wife and I are now going to the touch-up areas that should have been done. The owner may dispute this but I showed his estimator the other proposal. There was only a $10 difference. It was very formal, well written, and bullet-pointed everything they would do. They asked for no money upfront (Armor Guard asked for $2000) and stated in writing that no money is due until a walkthrough is completed with the owner and we are totally satisfied.
