"I purchased an investment property that needed some major work. I had originally planned to use them for some basic items that needed done but the work that was done was beyond expectation. I ended up using them to remodel the entire kitchen, install vinyl flooring, tile work, a complete backyard fence install and more. Everything was done to perfection and at a very reasonable cost. Rather than bringing in different people for different jobs, they were able to handle every request I threw at them and I was amazed with Julio, the owner, who was not happy unless everything was perfect. As a rental, I was looking for a caviar and champagne look on a beer and pretzel budget and they certainly came through. Highly recommend!"

"I think they treated the wrong lawn. The note they sent me via text message referenced trees and shrubs in my yard, I have none. They also did not leave a yard marker showing they had been there. Otherwise, this would have been a 5 star review."

"Fantastic job. Better than I thought could be done. I recommend them. They arrived on time. I had most, but not all the wood that was needed, so we went to the local lumber yard and got more. I am confident that it will stand up to the Florida Hurricanes."

Lawns questions, answered by experts

You’ll need to kill the earwigs using traps or insecticides, and then prevent them from entering your home. Make sure you fix leaks and seal up all cracks and crevices. You can use a dehumidifier to cut the moisture and drive earwigs out.

If you are xeriscaping a lawn from scratch, your best bet for preparing the lawn is to work with a xeriscaping specialist in your area. The most common first step to making the transformation, however, will be to remove the turfgrass from your lawn. The subsequent steps will often include amending the soil to support new plants and installing low-drip or drip irrigation systems.

Branches, leaves, grass clippings, and landscaping debris are typically collected.

According to the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences, there are over 10,000 kinds of mushrooms, and some are harmful to both humans and animals. However, not all mushrooms are harmful—some feed on thatch and wood, which provides nutrients for grass and plants.

But unless you’re a mushroom expert (mycologist), it can be hard to tell poisonous mushrooms from non-poisonous. So if you have kids or pets (or both), removing them is the safest route to take.

In most cases, it’s better to remove rocks before adding mulch. Layering the two will restrict drainage and plant health, and can create an unpleasant texture underfoot.
