"Apex was absolutely awful to work with. I will never work with them again. It took them more than 6 months longer than projected to do the work. They forgot to submit the permit for 2 months. They didn't include things in the price that should have been included, and came back to nickel and dime afterwards. The submitted a new invoice almost a year later and threatened to put a lien on the house when I pushed back. They are terrible and I will tell everyone I can that."

"After years of being a customer, Iâ ve called periodically to let them know the service isnâ t so great. The quality changes with their change over in personnel. I was called for collections on exchanging parts they never changed. When I asked if changing parts without notifying homeowners was â standard serviceâ I was told yes. I asked that they notify me first, especially since I was being charged for parts that were not changed. Today I called because service has been terrible for more than a month. Iâ ve been having my water tested and all the chemicals are off. When I told Michelle this she almost started yelling at me. She said a pool company wonâ t know whatâ s going on even if they are testing the water because they have to â seeâ the pool. Guess I will be looking for another pool company after I fix my current issues."

"I am not a happy customer. I'm not unhappy. I am an accommodated customer. I have four disappointments. I understand how a pool works, but this was my first remodel, and we were going big. Concrete swim-out bench in the shallow end, new tile, heater, new pump, new filter... I wanted a NEW pool. The first issue was the dedicated vacuum line. My pool has one, but it was abandoned. I wanted it fixed. I was told in the quote process that it may cost more to fix it, I said "let me know." The next I heard was at the end of the project when I asked about it and was told they found a leak and abandoned it. Legacy offered to rip up my new deck and address it if I wanted and I almost cried. They actually did have to rip up a small part of the deck to install a new skimmer because it was in the quote. I expressed concerns over drainage around my generator and A/C from the beginning and had to yell at them to get that done. I still have wood shims under the unmounted pump. *sigh*"
