Apex was absolutely awful to work with. I will never work with them again. It took them more than 6 months longer than projected to do the work. They forgot to submit the permit for 2 months. They didn't include things in the price that should have been included, and came back to nickel and dime afterwards. The submitted a new invoice almost a year later and threatened to put a lien on the house when I pushed back. They are terrible and I will tell everyone I can that.

A fantastic organization! Great cutomer support from beginning to end of the process. The team is really helpful and go the extra mile at every stage. I would definitely recommend them.

Did not use Apex Pavers, as the person who came to meet with me (Howard), said that unfortunately I would have to purchase a pallet of pavers that would be cost prohibitive. He recommended other options to solve the issue I had. Apex was easy to reach on the phone, easy to schedule appointment to meet, and gave good information to me. I had called two other companies also who never had the courtesy to return my calls. Those companies were Xtreme Pavers, Inc. and Terra Tiles & Pavers. Obviously, DO NOT use those two companies. I plan to contact Apex Pavers & Pools for my future paver needs.

Poor communication, absence of adequate job management, tremendous amount of leftover (very expensive) materials, and complete disregard for the homeowner and their property are just some of the issues that arose during this project. The only reason I didn’t give them an F is because they use good products that look real nice in the end. The story is too long to write but my experience with Ryan Figman and his company Apex Pools and Pavers has shown me that beyond a shadow of a doubt they are out to make the most profit possible and hate to admit their mistakes. The entire process was a nightmare and I wish I never heard of Apex. Pretty pavers aren’t worth dealing with this company.

It went great! Apex has very professional staff and crews. Nick, our sales person was and is always responsive. Denise in the office went out of her way to answer a late afternoon question. Cozme and his team did travertine over existing concrete. Their skill and positive attitude from start to finish of a very work intensive project led to an amazing transformation. The pool refinish crews had equally positive attitudes and made our 15 year old pool look thoroughly updated. Gordon and Margaret in particular were knowledgeable and extremely informative. Margaret gets extra kudos for patiently teaching us some pool maintenance and mechanics...we enjoyed her company! Things did not always go exactly as expected. It is so refreshing to find a quality company with outstanding employees that handled the unexpected so well.

Ryan from Apex came out to the house and helped us design a walkway that would connect the driveway to the front door, and would also wrap around the front of the house to the side gate. The Ivory Travertine materials were available and the job was scheduled quickly. The workers were on time, very courteous and professional. They obviously took great pride in their work. Their work makes our house more attractive and practical, and we have received many compliments from neighbors. They cleaned up thoroughly, and left us spare materials for future needs. This is the third major project we have had completed by Apex. We are very pleased with Apex and recommended them highly.

It went great! The work was done on time and on budget with excellent workmanship throughout! "Fine tuning, design changes", were made with a smile and NO added costs to the original contract. Ryan and his crew were a pleasure to work with.

Ryan was great about coming by a couple of times of the last two years as we worked on what we were going to do with the pool area. Hired a landscape designer and got plans made up. He came by once again to go over it and I was pretty sure we were going to give him the work. Since then I have not heard from him and he wont call me back. We are talking about a 50-65K job plus another 10-15K for doing our driveway. Not so sure about this company. Just want people to know.

I have no idea if they ever showed up to give me the estimate I requested. I spoke with Brian about cleaning and sealing pavers, he said he could do that without me being present so we set a date. When he had not replied with an estimate a week later I called the office and was told he was "running behind" , 10 days since that call and still no response. Apparently if you do not want installation they are not interested.

APEX did a great job. We love the look of the finished job. They kept us informed of the schedule, arrived as expected, kept the staging area out of neighborhood traffic and were very careful with our landscaping. We had many comments from our neighbors about how impressed they were with the professionalism and care of the workers. How they did not obstruct traffic, and were careful with the lawn and landscaping.

Brian at Apex was very knowledgeable. He walked us through all of the options and was never pushy with his opinions...just matter of fact. He pointed us to the most popular combinations and spent s lot of time at their showroom as we looked at tile and pavers. We got three quotes and while Apex was not the lowest, we felt that they understood what we wanted and paid the most attention to detail when it came to the pavers, the draining, our patio, and all of the other factors, We were not looking for a cheap remodel...we wanted it done right. His team did an amazing job. There were some delays due to weather (you can't plaster a pool when it might rain) but in the end it was well worth the wait. The Florida gem surface is awesome, as is the new tile and the pavers. They were professional and cleaned up after themselves each day. We even had a small problem that we didn't notice until the week after they finished and inspections were approved (and after we had paid in full), and they sent someone out the same day to repair it. This is an honest stand up company that I would recommend to anyone,

Brian Briggs was an excellent and responsive point man when we were planning the job and getting estimates. Later when some things did not go as planned, he was often unavailable. The paver crew was excellent - incredibly hard working and did a wonderful job. The pool looks beautiful. The new pump plumbing sprung a large leak about 3 weeks after completion. Apparently one of the joints did not get sealed. When I called Apex to report, Julie argued about it and then called Florida Falls to deal with it, although it was not related to their waterfall work. I had to call Apex again to complain and the leak was fixed after several days. Apex disconnected all the wires to our free-standing hot tub and left it disconnected when they completed the work. Later their pool man mentioned that if they disconnect a hot tub, they typically reconnect it. I had to call and have them come back for this. The driveway did not go as well. We were to approve the layout plan before they excavated, however they went ahead without our OK and it was not exactly where we wanted it. When I told them where I wanted the addition to start, I was told "Why didn't you say something?". Hmm, maybe because they didn't ask me before digging up my lawn. Some electrical wires were cut when they excavated, which can happen, but we were quite upset that they moved the wires to the edge of the property and did not notify us. Only after my husband changed the light bulb on the light near the street and called an electrician about it still not working, did we find out the lines were cut. After the electrician estimated several hundred dollars to repair, Apex repaired it themselves. They said they would leave the salt and supplies to switch over to a salt based pool system a month after filling the pool - they did not. They did re-sod some grass that was destroyed by wheelbarrows. They do beautiful work, so I would recommend them on that basis, but caution people to get everything spelled out in writing and watch them closely because communication is poor. I have had to call over multiple issues and now I hear disrespectful comments in the background when I call. I am sorry to be a burr in their side but we spent a lot of money on this and expect better customer service when things go wrong.

We are very happy with the work Apex did for us. We had a complete renovation of our pool and deck. They also added a 6 ft wide path going down to our dock. Absolutely love the job they did on the path and deck! Our salesman, Ross, was very professional and answered emails quickly. I would highly recommend Apex Pavers and Pools.

They told me there was a 10-year warranty on the work. I called afterward to let them know I was not satisfied with the bottom of the pool-- I saw some chipping and discoloration. At first they told me to go get a GoPro camera and take a picture which I thought was strange. I called them back a few weeks later to request they send someone out in person. The individual showed up unannounced and claimed he did not see anything wrong with the work. I told him he would need to get in the pool to see what I was talking about and he said that he would tell his boss and they would be in touch (5/11/2016). I called them back on 6/2 because I still had yet to hear anything and wanted to see what was going on with my complaint. The person I talked to said "oh you still haven't heard anything from my boss? We'll let him know and he will call you." It hasn't even been a year since the original work was performed and now I cannot get them to honor the warranty or get them to come out to inspect the problem. I feel like they have put me off.
