"I hired Russ here in Mason/Lebanon Ohio, he is a snow bird. He goes to Florida in the winter months of here and then returns home in our summers. He services both states. I hired him to do our black top driveway and replace our culvert pipe. He did NOT get a permit as needed to replace the culvert and he back filled it with dirt and rocks. During a rain storm the pipe stood straight up in the air since it was not done correcly, the township came by and dumped boulders on it to keep the pipe down. Shortly after the work , grass is growing in the black top, spots have sunk in, cracks all over it as well as holes. This is a pour job by him and his team. Since doing the work i have reached out and was told to F***ING take me to court. Which i have done and won. Our last hearing he did not show up for and now has a warrant for his arrest in Ohio. "

"In August 2025 we hired Anthony Pruchniak to pour a concrete pad for a workshop and to refinish the front porch. The workshop was months away due to the permitting process, but he wanted to go ahead and do the porch refinishing since he was available that week. Then it was delayed until the weekend. And here's where the saga begins. He showed up with his 3 young daughters in tow. Then it started raining before he could finish resurfacing the porch. He showed up after noon the next day and finished while we were away and sent pictures. I questioned the texture and he assured me that it was because of the picture was zoomed in. On to Wednesday (3 days later) after the porch was dry...it was so rough that I couldn't walk on it and the color had swirls in it. Then the struggle of getting that corrected. Unfortunately, when things went wrong with Tropical Paver Sealing, they didn’t rise to the occasion. I hired Tropical Paver Sealing, for a paver sealing job that included pressure washing my pool deck. During the service, the technician, Bowen, got distracted and ended up stripping the paint from the base of my pool enclosure, leaving it exposed to rust. Amanda, the owner, came out to inspect the damage, took videos, and promised to get back to me that afternoon with a solution. That follow-up never happened, despite me reaching out several times. To add to the frustration, I later found that my pool deck drains were filled with silicon sand used during the sealing process. The drains hadn’t been covered, so the sand just clogged them up. Once again, I reached out to Amanda, but my concerns were ignored. It's easy to get great reviews when everything goes smoothly, but when things go wrong, that’s when a business shows its true colors. Unfortunately, Tropical Paver Sealing didn’t handle the situation well at all, and Amanda was completely unresponsive. Based on this experience, I can’t recommend them. What could’ve been a simple fix turned into silence and neglect."
