"A friend recommend PBC to me after I told them I wanted to redo my garage. I reached out to Chase the owner of PBC and we setup an appointment to epoxy coat my garage floor. He was fast, friendly and best of all very knowledgable in what he was doing. He explained the coating process to my fiancé and I and worked with us to get our dream make our dream garage come true. We love our garage now! The floor is clean, looks professional and really improves the workspace. I spend a lot of time in my garage for my business and having a clean workspace was very important to me. The epoxy coating really makes cleaning the floor a breeze , opposed to a traditional concrete slab which is porous and always feels dusty. My fiancé and I highly recommend Chase!"

"We had our garage floors done with a metallic epoxy finish and love how they turned out. I was honestly surprised at how much the transformation changed the way the entire space feels — it looks clean, modern, and completely upgraded. The crew was on time and professional, Communication was easy and the whole process went smoothly. The floors look great and feel very durable. Highly recommend if you’re considering epoxy garage floors."

"The professionalism, result, and cost for this project exceeded my expectations. They showed up on time, left with me with a magnificent garage floor (that I had wanted for years), and the cost was so much better than I had anticipated. I would highly recommend Spartan to anyone looking to upgrade their garage, driveway or patio. This company will do it right!!! THANKS SPARTAN!!"

"I highly recommend this company. During the time that Lori invested in painting the interior of my condo she was extremely courteous and professional. It was easy to see that she definitely takes pride in her work. She took great care in making sure that every little detail was done accurately. I enjoyed having her in my home and will certainly not hesitate to use her and or her son in the future."

Epoxy Flooring questions, answered by experts

The amount of paint needed to cover a two-car garage floor depends on the surface area and the product's coverage rate. On average, a standard two-car garage floor measures 400 to 500 square feet. Coverage ranges from 100 to 200 square feet per gallon for epoxy paint, depending on the product and application method. After some quick math, you may need 2 to 5 gallons of epoxy paint with two coats to cover a two-car garage floor.

Always seal concrete stain to protect against wear and preserve the color. This applies to acid- and water-based stains but not always to concrete paint. Many paints designed for outdoor use contain ingredients designed to protect and waterproof without the need for additional sealant. Fortunately, learning how to seal concrete is something most DIY-savvy homeowners can tackle.

You can paint over old paint on a concrete porch. For the best results, you should first clean the surface and remove as much paint as you can. A power washer is helpful here, but you’ll also want to scrape as much of the old paint away as possible. Then you should prime the porch before repainting it.

Concrete can take years to fully settle, but interior concrete floors are mostly settled after a year. Shifting and settling can occur throughout your home’s life, but most major settling happens the first few years after the concrete is poured. It’s not uncommon for minor cracks to appear in concrete floors over time—check with a concrete pro to ensure new cracks don’t indicate a structural issue in your home.

The lifespan of stained concrete can range from five years to a lifetime, depending on the type of stain used and how well it is maintained. Acid-based stains penetrate the concrete and can last 20 years or more, while water-based stains are less durable and may last around five years, especially on outdoor surfaces exposed to UV light and weather. To preserve the color and extend the life of the finish, stained concrete should be properly sealed and then resealed every three to five years. Factors like foot traffic, climate, and proper initial application also affect its longevity.
