"We met with Matt after multiple no-shows and not so great conversations with contractors. We needed to add a wall, pocket door, closet, and paint the interior. Matt was honest, punctual, did EXACTLY what he said he would and went above and beyond. There was a design change and it was very easily accommodated without any issues at all. The work is literally perfect…almost better than the original builder on a new build. "Joe and Alice were very pleased to hire James Gabor to finish a fence project someone else we hired had started. This hired handyman just abandoned this Fence project three weeks ago. I called Angi's List for Licensed Professional Businesses and James Gabor answered our phone call immediately and set up an appointment the next day early Sunday morning. I explained to him exactly what needed to be done for completing our yard wood panel fence project with cutting a few cement slabs and some trimming of fence post tops. He also needed to check already put up fence wood panels that were screwed in crocked. James was very acknowledgeable about what was needed to finish this uncompleted fence project. I felt confident with his manner of telling me he was wanting to come as soon as possible and had all the tools for cutting, the cement, cementing the last two fence posts, leveling the dirt and using the cement cut pieces to put in the space from the cement pieces cut in order to extend the back area of the fence near the side of the fence. He also removed the chain link fence attached to the back side chaining fence going down the right side of the house's yard. He meticulously loosened the screws in the top half of the uneven fence posts that had been put up and redrilled the screws so he could straighten the posts, there were fence post tool clamps he attacked to the bottom of the posts while working on them. When he mixed the cement for the few fence posts he had a hand held rotating drill mixer he mixed the water and cement mix together in a big bucket to pour the cement. He worked hard and fast, never taking any break, constantly checking everything walking in the back and front areas of this whole fence. I was very impressed with his work ethic! He also was polite and was very accomodating if I asked questions while he was working. He finished all my fence wood project in three hours!! He is very professional, cleaned up any cuttings of posts and excess wood pieces from trimming. He also carried the taken down poles and small piece of chain link fence into the back yard area which was a little ways walk from where he was working. He also carried the small piece of leftover excess a cut fence panel back into the side area of the house back yard. He made this wood fence project all lined up right to the side of the house look very nice. I kept saying Thank you to him. Please hire him for any renovations you need done. He is very good and a perfectionist at any kind of house or building project you need done. You will not be led astray at all he is very organized and punctual. He worked mostly alone and never complained. The job fee he presents to a client is well deserved by his knowledgeable job skills Thank you, James Gabor Renovations LLC. "In June Andy was doing an interior paint job across the street from us. The house had been recently sold and Andy had been hired by the real estate agent on behalf of the new owner. He had previously done work for the agent and she recommended him. Our house was struck by lightning at the same time and Andy had pointed out a hole in the front of our house, from the lightning exiting our attic, that we hadn’t noticed. We had not been happy with our previous house painting and took the opportunity to schedule Andy to do our house. He and his team came shortly after and did a great job on which we’ve received many compliments, both for the quality of the paint job, but also their work ethic and friendliness. "I would give this guy 10 stars if I could!! I hired him to paint the exterior of my home (2709 sf) along with the trim. I was so nervous in hiring someone because it’s such a hard decision on color choice plus I am super picky. Paul did an amazing job! It turned out just how I wanted it. After that, he did my driveway and lanai as well. Super reliable and really worked with me in getting what I wanted."
