"Used advanced painting LI for 2 bedrooms to be painted. Also had them renovate, sand and stain my back deck (3 years later the deck still looks like the day they did it) . Great work, very professional, would definitely recommend 👍"

"Adam was superior in contact via phone and email to explain and plan for painting and starting date. Since I don’t live in the area where I own the house he sent me photos of work before and after. He was able to repair rotted wood or also a large wooden loose slatted vent above garage door. He also power washed home before where algae grew on siding. He can also do deck painting too. He used paint products that are high quality overall. I am extremely pleased with his work and communication to satisfy the customer."

Deck Staining questions, answered by experts

You have a couple of options when choosing a durable pool deck coating. Epoxy is common and offers excellent stain and water resistance. Epoxy also withstands high temperatures and UV lighting, making it ideal for sunny spots. You can also add a coating to cement, which significantly lowers the temperature of the concrete, is environmentally safe, and makes cleanup a breeze.

Painted decks typically require a new coat about once every ten years. In between new coats, it's best to maintain your deck by regularly removing debris, washing it down with non-abrasive cleaners, and staying ahead of structural issues, such as loose boards and rotting wood. In some cases, painting a small section of your deck affected by damage or the sun can lower your costs and workload.

It’s best to prime composite decking before painting. This promotes better paint adhesion, helps create a smooth finish, and can mean the paint job will last longer. Always follow the manufacturer’s instructions for application, allow ample primer drying time before painting (typically 24 to 48 hours), and thoroughly clean the deck boards to promote the best adhesion.

Wood stain is not flammable after it dries. The solvent in wood stain is what causes the liquid form to be highly flammable, but the stain drying process involves the solvents dissolving, which leaves behind a non-flammable product on your wood project. Wood stain is, however, flammable before you apply it, so you should always store partially full cans and used wood stain rags away from sources of heat and open flames.

Always wait until the morning dew has dried before you stain your deck. The stain needs a fully dry surface to sink into.
