"I was very pleased with the service. I was outside while the men were working which , frankly, I don't like to do, but our trees are difficult to prune. They were prunning an Elm and a Holly . I made some suggestions to the men, and their cooperation was excellent. I would not hesitate to call MAG USA for tree service again."

"This time it was sprinkler repairs, but Morne did a HUGE planter install with pro design included, pavers (twice), planted a large foxtail palm, and added another station in my irrigation. Best designer I have met yet...and a SUPER nice guy. Highly recommend!"

"From the beginning it was a pleasure to work with this company. Carlos came out for the initial meeting and was very professional. He was thorough in going over the services we were wanting. The turn around time for the design was quick also which made it very nice for us to get the work started. My husband and I had been wanting our landscaping done for a while. They redid our front flower beds with new plants which are easy to care for and added rock and a nice border around the area. Our front yard looks beautiful! We are so happy we chose King Kutz. The work is absolutely stunning and turned out wonderful! We are so pleased and glad we chose this company. They are very professional and reliable. We are wanting further work done and will be calling them again!"

"I wish I could include a picture!!! We worked with the very nice salesman Kevin for a quote to install artificial grass in our front and side yard. The quote was very reasonable! The crew that came were some of the hardest working people I have ever met! They used scissors at the end of the install to make sure the blades were just the same height along the lines that came together! Donâ t hesitate call them now!!! (I got 4 other quotes from other artificial grass companies and this one had the BEST PRICES..) I love my new lawn and my neighbors are very jealous."

Small jobs welcome

"Was able to do a quick turn around even during the busy spring season (came at the end of the day). Was able to get the broken flex pipe replaced and my tree capped so that the rest of the system can work properly. It was urgent because of the lack of rain."

Arborists questions, answered by experts

Your local government is usually in charge of pruning trees on public property, and the power company is responsible for trees near power lines (even if they’re on your property). Whether or not they top these trees depends on their approach to pruning. You won’t be able to do much to control this, but you can contact them to find out more about their pruning process.

Coverage varies quite a bit by policy, but most homeowners' insurance policies will cover $500 to $1,000 of the cost of removing a tree. Additionally, if your tree causes damage to your property, like your house, many policies will cover some or all of the costs to repair the damage, depending on why the tree fell.

You can start your search for a reputable arborist online by looking for professionals who hold the proper licensing and are fully insured. Next, read through some online reviews to see what kind of service the expert brings to the table, and confirm that they don’t have a history of complaints with the Better Business Bureau. Finally, you can ask the professional for a list of references and then call them to ask questions about the service, professionalism, value, and more that the expert brings to the table.

Dying trees and even dead trees can spread diseases to other living trees. There are many different types of tree diseases, so it’s essential to address the issue as soon as possible to prevent the disease from spreading to other healthy trees. If the tree cannot be saved and is infected, you need to have it removed to protect the other trees on your property.

Tree roots can take weeks to years to die, depending on the method you use. Chemical herbicides take the least amount of time—typically between three and four weeks—while homemade methods, like covering an old stump with leaves, could take between seven and eight years. If you’re unsure which method to use or how quickly you need to act, consulting with a pro is always a good idea.
