Small jobs welcome

"This two story house was done in 1975 and the 2 car garage basement was left unfinished. A lot of electrical cable was attached to the ceiling. They came in with a layer of 2 2x4's to drop the ceiling by 3 inch framing on 2 ft centers to provide protection for the electrical cables, then drywalled. A great job of mud and tape left a beautiful finish. If I was building a new house I would want these guys to do all the drywall."

Customers say: Quality work

"Arturo Rodriguez and his Complete Drywall Inc crew have done amazing work for us removing popcorn, applying knockdown texture, and even complete drywall (no pun intended!) replacement on our back porch. The latest job we had them do involved removing popcorn ceiling in our entire home, as well as interior painting — and that work was excellent as well! The crews are fast, clean, precise, and show ultimate respect for the home. If we ever need any additional drywall or painting work done, Complete Drywall will get our business. Complete Drywall and Painting does excellent work for a fair price."

Warranties offered

"I recently needed drywall repair in my family room after mold remediation on an exterior wall, and I cannot recommend Rodney highly enough. From start to finish, his work was flawless. He completely understood the importance of not just repairing the drywall, but ensuring the area was properly sealed and ready for a perfect finish. The patch and texture work he did is absolutely seamless—you would never know there was ever any damage there. The wall looks brand new. Beyond the excellent craftsmanship, Rodney was professional, punctual, and incredibly tidy. He kept the work area clean and was very communicative throughout the process. He turned what could have been a stressful situation into a smooth and easy experience. If you need drywall repair or installation, especially for something as particular as post-remediation work, Rodney is your go-to expert. Outstanding quality and a true professional. Thank you, Rodney"

Drywall Insulation questions, answered by experts

Plaster that sags or bulges, shows extensive deep cracks, or is crumbling from water damage or simply time may need replacement. Plaster walls can look a little “worn” for a long time before they need replacing. The only real way to know if it needs a replacement is to hire a professional to assess the condition of the plaster.

Costs range from $500 to $5,000, depending on damage size, labor, and finishing requirements.

The tool you use to sand plaster will depend on the size of the project. If you’re just working on a small section of your wall to get rid of an uneven spot on the surface, hand-sanding might work. However, for larger projects, a drywall sander can make a huge difference when it comes to both time and elbow grease—and an orbital sander can help for detailed areas such as around ceiling fans.

If you want to reduce sound transmission throughout your home, soundproofing drywall is a better choice than standard drywall. However, simply installing soundproofing drywall may not completely block out noise. You’ll get the best results from incorporating it into a larger soundproofing plan that includes proper insulation and framing studs.

When choosing materials for finishing basement walls, consider factors such as moisture resistance, durability, and fire resistance. Opt for materials specifically designed for basement environments, like moisture-resistant drywall or cement board. Insulation with vapor barriers can help regulate temperature and prevent condensation. Consider using mold-resistant paints or coatings.

Research and consult with experts to select materials that are suitable for your specific basement conditions and intended use. Prioritize quality and compatibility to achieve long-lasting and aesthetically pleasing results.
