"Ken the SWINDLER,troubleshooted my unit&quoted me $1,200 flat.Less than 24hrs before the job,he tried to jack up the price.He made an existing hairline crack in my drip pan worse,causing water to leak all on my floor,then refused to take responsibility.His excuse: “It was already cracked.” He wanted to charge me for the damage HE caused.He discovered my parts were under warranty(including the drip pan)he then “owned up” to replacing it,acting like he was a hero.He brought me the incorrect fan relay,he left to switch it out.Disappeared for 2hrs,calls and lies about the place being closed when he left the incorrect fan relay at my house.Was promised a hard start kit for free if my breaker tripped.It tripped twice.Instead of honoring his word,he tried to push me off to an electrician&told me to start saving $8,000 for a brandnew system on a unit thats 3.5yrs old.He denied ever making the offer,admitted it later then ghosted me.Stay away unless you want A BREATHE OF FRESH PROBLEMS."

"Protek HVAC turned our $34,000 investment into a costly disaster. Their poor installation led to mold growth, forcing us to spend an additional $22,000 in damages, repairs, and legal fees—all while they refused to take responsibility. Additionally, they are refusing to give me the attic hatch that I paid for. That was worth close $500 worth of equipment. If they can't even do the right thing with that for you, imagine if they mess up something bigger We were misled into a $25,000 upgrade with assurances that it would improve indoor air quality, which likely would have been the case if they had properly sealed the air ducts. However, an independent engineer confirmed the issues stemmed from an inadequate installation—ducts left unsealed, causing microbial growth. Despite our efforts to resolve this, Protek repeatedly changed their explanation, shifting blame from the hurricane to previous installers. Additionally, they downgraded our system from a 4-ton unit to a 3-ton unit while falsely marking the installation as an equal swap on permit paperwork. When confronted, they refused to properly remediate the problem. **If you choose this company, do not trust verbal assurances. Insist on personally inspecting their work before signing off on anything. Buyer beware!**"
