"Absolutely incredible, I’m a property manager and I deal with many types of appliance contractors. Dade Appliance immediately reached out to me via phone call. We were able to get the service scheduled same day of the initial contact. I followed up via text, later in the day to ensure we were still good for our original appointment and we were. Came over and was able to fix my Dryer (For clothes) AND fix my fridge that was leaking. The rates were a little on the high side BUT with how great the service was from beginning to end and being able to fix my dryer and fridge, I will happily pay a bit more. I will most definitely contact Dade Appliances if I need help with any appliances. I would strongly recommend them!"

Appliance Sales questions, answered by experts

Typically, refrigerators should not be plugged into GFCI outlets. This is another appliance with a motor that can be prone to a little current leakage. Using a standard outlet saves nuisance tripping and the potential of waking up to a refrigerator full of warm food. The only exception is when the refrigerator is in a garage, where all outlets must be GFCI.

You should never plug a normal 120v appliance into a special 240v outlet, as it can quickly burn out the appliance. This will cause irreparable damage to the appliance and, in worse case scenarios, cause damage to your circuit breaker. Check your appliance’s rating before plugging it into a 220v outlet to avoid electrical disaster.

Most dishwashers are designed with a standardized width of around 24 inches and can fit into most kitchen spaces intended for dishwashers. However, the height and depth might vary slightly, requiring careful measurements to ensure a proper fit. Certain specialized or compact dishwasher models might deviate from the standard size to accommodate specific needs or non-standard spaces. While many dishwashers adhere to a typical size, measuring the available space accurately is crucial to guarantee a seamless installation.

No, but you can wash the outside with soapy water. Rinsing the toaster in the sink can damage the electrical components or cause an electric shock when plugged back in. Since it’s hard to tell when the toaster is safe to use after rinsing, it’s best to avoid this cleaning method altogether.

It's advisable to have small appliances professionally serviced annually or biannually, especially for heavily used items, to maintain efficiency and prolong longevity.
