We appliances repair company that services the tri county area with techs that are pros and service that's prompt same day servicing .person to person business never get a machine answering your its just better that way we work on your time All repairs have 30-60 day warranties Senior citizens get 10% discount on all repair we love to please our customers.

"Contractor/owner (K. Georges) said the coil would need to be replaced. The part needed to be ordered and we were told it would take 1 week. It has been 2 1/2 months!!! Mr. Georges has not responded to multiple text messages nor return phone calls. After 2 months, my call was finally answered by using *67 to hide my #. We agreed on a date/time for the repairs to be made. The day before the scheduled time, I texted to verify we were in fact scheduled for repairs. At this point Mr. Georges asked me to send him the model and serial number of my refrigerator. I suspect he hasn't even ordered the part. On the date agreed, I sat at home from 8:00AM until 6:00PM and not only was Mr Georges a NO-SHOW, but he didn't even bother to text or call to let me know that he was running late. I would NOT RECOMMEND using this company!!! UNRELIABLE, DISHONEST, and apparently unqualified."

Small Appliance Repair questions, answered by experts

Some of the most common microwave repair problems include magnetron failure and a plate that won’t spin. When a magnetron fails, the microwave won’t efficiently heat your food—a frustrating albeit common experience. Meanwhile, a plate that doesn’t spin won’t thoroughly heat food, even if the magnetron works.

If your microwave keeps tripping the breaker, your first instinct may be to repair it, but it might make more sense to replace it. On average, microwaves last about seven years, although they can last as long as 11. If your unit is pushing a decade and has seen better days, consider replacing it (if your budget allows).

The cost to buy a new microwave depends on the type of unit you plan to buy. A regular countertop microwave costs between $50 and $500 while combo microwave ovens can cost as much as $3,500.

It’s usually safe to use a microwave if the plate isn’t spinning. You may experience unevenly heated food and cold spots, but you’re unlikely to run into major problems like total appliance failure or a fire. You can try diagnosing the issue yourself, but you should contact a small appliance repair company if you can’t figure out what’s causing the problem.

The magnetron and the transformer are typically the most expensive parts of a microwave. Replacing a magnetron can cost anywhere between $100 and $200, depending on the make and model of the microwave, and replacing a transformer costs between $100 and $300. When these parts fail, it’s often preferred to simply replace the microwave entirely.

Professionals guarantee precision installation, regulatory compliance, and the extension of appliance lifespan through proper handling and systems understanding.
