"Today we had Jairo and Rene from ELEKRON ELECTRIC install a ground wire, which was not installed in my dryer. They install a ground wire and an electrical cord for my dryer which burned out because of faulty wiring in the past from another electrical company's electrian. They also installed an outside flood light, and a track light in the washer and dryer closet. These men where polite, clean, and professional I was impressed and satisfied with their work, I will call again ELEKRON ELECTRIC. Highly Recommend"

"The company sent a highly skilled electrician who identified the problem - it was more complicated & harder to pinpoint than originally thought, and stayed until the problem was fixed which actually occupied 4 separate floors. I was exceedingly pleased with the knowledge base & skill of the electrician and would heartily recommend Solomon to everyone who needs electrical repairs. WJG"

"We recently had extensive electrical work completed in our mother’s home, and we couldn’t be more pleased with the entire experience. The project included rewiring, installing ceiling fans (including relocating one to a new location), installing two new light fixtures in our stairwell, updating all switches and outlets throughout the home, and adding an outdoor outlet on our balcony. From beginning to end, the service was exceptional. Alex was consistently punctual, professional, courteous, and highly knowledgeable. Every aspect of the work was completed with great attention to detail and precision, and the quality of craftsmanship exceeded our expectations. Alex is dependable, highly skilled, and respectful. We will absolutely continue to rely on him for any future electrical needs and would confidently recommend him to anyone seeking high-quality electrical services."

Electrical questions, answered by experts

In Pembroke Pines, homeowners should schedule a pre-hurricane season inspection each spring, testing surge protectors, checking outdoor wiring, and confirming generator readiness. During hurricane season, test GFCI outlets monthly and inspect for water intrusion after storms. After hurricane season, look for corrosion and ensure all safety devices function properly. Year-round, monitor outlets for warmth and examine visible wiring for damage to maintain electrical safety in Pembroke Pines.

Helpful?

The longevity of electrical work in Pembroke Pines depends on selecting corrosion-resistant materials, ensuring all electrical connections are properly sealed against humidity, and following local building codes. Quality installation by a licensed electrical contractor—including correct torque on connections and adequate ventilation—plays a crucial role. Regular inspections, especially before and after hurricane season, and prompt attention to moisture or corrosion help maintain electrical safety and reliability.

Helpful?

Homeowners in Pembroke Pines may encounter hidden costs such as upgrades to meet current building codes, permit and inspection fees, and additional expenses for hurricane preparedness like surge protection. Repairing corrosion or moisture damage, specialized drilling in concrete block homes, and using marine-grade materials near pools can also increase costs. Delays from weather or inspection scheduling may extend project timelines, so it’s wise to plan for these possibilities.

Helpful?

In Pembroke Pines, electrical contractors often specialize in residential wiring, commercial electrical systems, and industrial projects. Residential electrical contractors focus on home electrical safety, upgrades, and code compliance. Commercial specialists handle businesses along Pines Boulevard, while industrial experts manage high-voltage systems near the Miramar border. Some contractors also offer emergency electrical services, pool and spa wiring, generator installations, and solar panel setups tailored to Pembroke Pines’ unique climate and needs.

Helpful?

For electrical projects in Pembroke Pines, using THWN-2 wire is ideal for wet or hot conditions, while PVC or aluminum conduit helps resist moisture and salt air. Corrosion-resistant panels and weatherproof outdoor outlets are recommended for electrical safety. AFCI and GFCI breakers are essential for code compliance. Near pools, marine-grade wiring is best, and impact-rated equipment helps protect against hurricane damage common in Pembroke Pines.
