My business is dedicated to providing Central Florida residents with professional home repair and general construction of the highest quality at truly competitive prices. No job is to big or to small. I am state certified and bonded in the State of Florida. Joseph Joerger owner of Joe's Plumbing has 13 years in the trade of doing service work in all areas of plumbing and custom remodels. I started my busness about 5 years ago. I personnelly do all the work to be done. I have a wonderful wife and three terrific kids. I do complete bathroom remodels from start to finish. I can either supply all fixtures and install or use the fixtures you supply. I can change out everything from water heaters to faucets and sinks.

"I’m not a person that has ever written one these reviews but I feel potential customers should know what I had to endure. I had a full tank and drain field replacement. I started this process in January and they finished the work 06/28, not to mention I didn’t receive the updated invoice until 08/06. Communication, setting expectations, and executed work have all been horrendous. Communication - I’m not going to list all the scenarios but I had over a dozen different times where I had to call follow up on a situation that they could have alerted me to. Setting expectations - Everything ran late with no follow up. Aside from the obvious 5-6 month timeframe, I woke up early, called out of work, and cancelled plans for events this company never showed up to. Executed work - The main driver for this job was to relocate my tank and drain field so I could build a larger shed in my back yard, all of this was explained to them. 2/5 of the drain field was placed in my build area forcing me to change plans with my contractor and I will need to build a much smaller shed. Additionally they killed my plumeria tree, concaved a wall on the existing shed, dented my chainlink fence, severed my internet line and wrecked my yard beyond what I thought was possible. I was reimbursed $250 total, with $100 being the internet cord. I would have never agreed to do business with this company if I know the level of indifference. I hope this review will give new customers pause."

"Buyer beware! Terrible customer service and negligent technicians. Bath Fitters Orlando installed our tub and the overflow drain leaked shortly after install. The leak damaged my air handler control box/ wiring (located one floor below the tub) and cost me over $600 to have an electrician fix. I called service who sent the original installer who claimed to fix the problem. I discovered that actually, he just plugged the overflow drain with caulking. Contacted service again who said â another service call would be $200. I protested and received a call from someone in upper management a day latter. In that conversation I had, with someone in NY, who told me four times in 20 a minute conversation â they were in business to make money, not lose money on service calls. When the leak was (obviously) not fixed, another serviceman was sent out. After cutting a hole in a closet wall and one failed attempt, he was able to properly connect the drain pipe correctly and removed the caulking from the overflow. The customer service has been appalling. Bath Fitter has been unresponsive - no callbacks and straight to voicemail. It is been beyond frustrating because if the tub had been installed correctly, I would not need any service. This posting was sent to Bath Fitters a week before posting and no response tells you the level of service and warranty. I have video, photos and witnesses, so I will be going to small claims court as after many attempts to handle this outside of court, they have shown no interest in doing the right thing to correct their mistake. I will also be contacting the Better Business Bureau in an effort to protect the public."

It usually takes a professional water heater installer between two and three hours to remove an existing water heater and install a new tank heater. However, it could take four to five hours if they have to work in a small utility closet or another tight area, like a crawl space. Tankless water heaters have a more complicated installation process, so they will take a bit longer. Additionally, a gas water heater requires a connection to a gas line, and that alone can add about an hour to the installation timeline compared to installing an electric water heater.
It is very difficult and dangerous to install your own water heater, so we strongly recommend against tackling this as a DIY project. Not only will you need to wire your water heater, but you’ll also need to connect plumbing to the intake and outlet. Sweating copper pipes and connecting wiring properly are skills most DIYers don’t have, and even if you do feel confident you can do it, working with water and electricity always leaves the potential for electrocution. In most municipalities, a license is not mandatory for water heater installation or replacement. However, we strongly recommend hiring a licensed plumber or water heater installer to handle the work. Licensed installers are far less likely to make a mistake during the installation, which means paying for the experience decreases your risk of a leak and other issues.
