"Let’s just list the facts and tell the Truth about your generator installation and service history. The Generator was installed August 2021, passed both Electrical and Gas inspection by Orange County inspectors with flying colors. No subpar workmanship on your installation. March 2022 your top lid lock was replaced by Heinmiller, at no charge to you. September 2022 Maintenance visit was performed by Heinmiller, truck GPS shows Tech spent over an hour on the maintenance. September 15, 2022 you called in with a problem with the tank monitoring device. Heinmiller tech checked the Tank monitoring device, found nothing wrong and that it was working properly. There was No Charge to you for this visit. Just because you didn’t get a discount on your next maintenance or on the tank monitoring doesn’t make our staff rude. Everyone pays the same price for our services. We employee factory trained Generac technicians. Not all service companies have Generac factory trained techs. We have no reason to refund you any money or discount our services, since there wasn’t any subpar work done by Heinmiller at your home."
"Your unit was not operating at all when you called us. We charged you for a service call, inspection/diagnostic and replaced the faulty part (dual run capacitor) which resolved the issue and your ac was working properly when we completed the job. We invoiced you for $254 (Flat Rate Price Book-No Hidden Fees). However, after much discussion we agreed to reduce your invoice twice to $193 but you decided to only pay us $161. We have an impeccable reputation since 1990 serving 1,000's of customers over the years."

Since the unit is still under warranty, I did not have to pay for parts but I was charged for the service call and for labor to replace this latest blown component. I had a variety of responses given to me when the manager of Heinmiller and I discussed the deplorable repair rate of my system: "you should have bought the maintenance agreement", "things break". They never agreed that they had not noticed the incorrect circuit breaker or that this could be the cause of my problems. However, within a day or two... and under the guise of wanting to do a "quality control pressure check" after they replaced the compressor... I watched from my window as the technician replaced the circuit breaker with the proper one. When he came back in the house, I asked him what he had to do. He replied, "just a pressure check". He didn't, nor did anyone from Heinmiller, tell me they changed the breaker, it was never written on a work order. They are careful to charge for everything but not for the clandestine replacement of the circuit breaker that could likely have been the cause of all my problems. After this and at my request, Bob Heinmiller applied for a permit for my air conditioner and it was inspected. Sure enough, someone from the office appeared just before the inspector arrived "to make sure everything went okay". The inspector told this guy that he needed a ladder so the Heinmiller guy went to the truck to get it. While we waited inside, I quickly filled the inspector in on all the problems I had with the system since it was first installed. I asked him about the circuit breaker issue and he said he couldn't unequivocally say that this was the cause of my problems but he did say that not following the manufacturer's recommendations is the same as not following the code. After he inspected the unit in the attic, the two of them went to the back of the house to look at the outside unit. When they returned to the front, the guy from Heinmiller was putting his ladder away but the inspector came back inside. He said, "This guy was not upfront with me at all. I asked him if there were any issues with the unit since it was installed and he told me no, it has been running smoothly". I think service providers owe their customers honesty. They should act with integrity and I found that missing in my experience with Bob Heinmiller.
"While we certainly understand your frustration and concern regarding your air conditioning unit, we are confident the issues have been resolved and that the unit is functioning properly. We did not charge you for any of these warranty service calls and even replaced your air handler at our expense to correct the water dripping issue. Carrier, the manufacture sent out their Quality and Customer Assurance Technical Service Manager to inspect your equipment. He found nothing wrong with the equipment but recommended two minor adjustments to prevent any further condensation on the air handler in the garage. We have made these adjustments to your system. We apologize for any inconvenience that you may have experienced and we will work hard to provide you with continued excellent service going forward. Thank you for the opportunity to serve you."

My 7 year old Solar Hot water heated panels were dripping water off my roof. We finally noticed it and I called just before lunch time today and they were very prompt and courteous to get someone so soon. Robin, my technician explained that the plastic freeze values don't last in the Florida sun and suggested we use a copper freeze value this time. Back in 2010, another company replaced the original freeze value so I really liked the idea of using copper. Robin did not have the part on his truck but his boss actually came to my house and delivered the product since he was going to be in the area. I am so happy to get all this taken care of today. They warranty their work for 1 year, so I will be sure to call them again. Everyone I dealt with was prompt, cheerful & courteous. Thanks so much!

Doug came by the house to provide a free estimate and after offering a great replacement unit at a reasonable price, he had someone come by the house to refill the refrigerant so we could have some cool air with the old unit while we waited for our scheduled install date.
The install went very smooth and the install crew were very professional and courteous. When I noticed a week later that there might be an issue with how my thermostat was communicating with the HVAC to provide warm air, Bob Heinmiller was very quick to respond to my troublecall and fix this minor gripe.
I am extremely pleased with the staff and crew of Bob Heinmiller AC and would recommend them to anyone in need of HVAC services. There are far too many HVAC businesses to lose confidence in and I am happy that a business such as Bob Heinmiller AC still has the small business courtesy and services that is missing with the majority of the competitors looking to rip customers off. My hats off to this place, especially since I don't like to type reviews!
