"Cesar and crew were very professional and detail oriented. Large project painting multi room interior walls and kitchen cabinets. Paint matched existing room color and exterior paint perfectly! On time and kept work area clean. Would highly recommend them and will use again for future projects!"

"Glenn is an excellent painter with many years of experience. He finished a not so fun project that involved interior doors, trim and wall painting on my 1960’s home with plaster walls. Glenn is trustworthy, detailed, but quick and efficient. Job was completed while I was at work so saved me a lot of time."

Small jobs welcome

"Moving the furniture was a bit of a challenge for these folks, but they got it done in a week's time. Plus moved the furniture back. Most paint companies will tell you to empty out the house and then we'll paint it. They had a bit of trouble with the paint matching, but that was Home Depot who mixed the paint. The paint job came out pretty good for changing the color on the walls and making the paint all match up, plus they left me a gallon of wall and trim paint for future touchups."

Interior Painting questions, answered by experts

To remove painted-over hinges for replacement or paint removal, you should use a utility knife to score around the edges of the hinges gently. Work very carefully so as not to damage the surrounding area. From there, you can unscrew the hinges and gently pry them off the door, making sure not to bend the metal.

Penetrating sealer seeps into concrete pores to protect it from moisture and staining, cracking, and mold caused by water. This means you cannot remove penetrating sealers like topical sealers. The good news is that penetrating sealant doesn’t have to be removed before resealing, as most topical sealers must. Instead, you’ll want to buy a compatible penetrating sealant (often the same kind already in the concrete) and apply it. Always follow the manufacturer’s instructions.

If your home was built before 1978, there’s a chance that any paint on your hardwood floors could be lead paint—especially if it was already there when you moved in. Because lead is toxic, hiring a licensed pro to remove it is mandatory. The average price for professional lead paint removal ranges from $1,500 to $5,300 and depends on the scope of the project.

Professionals use safe, efficient methods that protect surfaces and prepare for new finishes.

Scrape softened caulk with a putty knife or slice hardened caulk with a utility knife. Hard-to-remove caulk generally requires more time exposed to a softening solution, like a commercial product or rubbing alcohol. A few hours to a day later, the softened caulk will come off with the help of common household tools. In many cases, you can grab needle-nosed pliers for caulk with multiple old layers and pull the material off its base.
