The other major drawback is that black paint is harder to paint over with a lighter color. Spraying and brushing both can lead to beautiful, evenly painted window shutters. Spraying is faster and easier, but it brings in an added cost, as paint sprayers are around $100 to buy or $40 per day to rent. If price is a determining factor, you can use a brush and rest assured that the results will be good nonetheless.
