Small jobs welcome

"Ricky has done several jobs for me, from remodeling a small condo as well as medium and large homes. His work is impeccable! He manages a good crew of workers if the project is large, and works along side them. He has done interior and exterior painting for me, removed popcorn ceilings, refinished kitchen and vanity cabinets…and has always done a great job. Happy to recommend him for all work. Thank you Ricky!"

"JL Drywall responded after hours and gave me a quote the next morning! Very responsive and awesome follow thru. Job was completed as quoted and on time. Going to recommend them to my Bathroom installer who -by the way doesn’t do “Drywall” even when they quoted knocking down a pony wall!! Would recommend John to anyone who needs Drywall done right!"

"Miguel did a great job installing my LVP flooring. He was easy to communicate with, showed up when he said he would, and paid attention to the details. The finished floor looks great, and the whole process was smooth from start to finish. I would definitely recommend him to anyone looking for quality flooring work."

Interior Painting FAQs, answered by experts

While a pressure washer is certainly powerful enough to remove old and peeling paint, this is not a great idea to do yourself. The pressure washer is so powerful that you could actually damage the walls as you strip away the paint. It’s best to leave paint stripping to the pros.

You can find chemical and naturally derived paint thinners to remove paint without as much sanding. A heat gun or pressure washer can also remove paint from large areas. However, sanding is often the best way to remove the final bits of paint that remain on the surface.

Most projects take 1-5 days, depending on the area size, paint adhesion, and removal technique chosen.

Yes, WD-40 can be used to remove dried paint, including spray paint, from surfaces like metal because it acts as a solvent. To use this method, spray enough WD-40 to completely cover the paint and let it sit for five to ten minutes. Afterward, gently scrub the area with a cloth to remove the paint. Be aware that this method might leave behind a greasy film that can attract dirt.

Penetrating sealer seeps into concrete pores to protect it from moisture and staining, cracking, and mold caused by water. This means you cannot remove penetrating sealers like topical sealers. The good news is that penetrating sealant doesn’t have to be removed before resealing, as most topical sealers must. Instead, you’ll want to buy a compatible penetrating sealant (often the same kind already in the concrete) and apply it. Always follow the manufacturer’s instructions.
