"Adam did an excellent job cleaning the house. It smells great here. He cleaned our kitchen very nicely and took care of all the surfaces and under the bed and left the house smelling good feeling good. He’s a very nice guy and has an excellent bedside manner. He brings his own products and supplies and cleaning implements, which is also a plus. Totally professional. Would use again."

"Michael and Associate weâ re very friendly, communicative and thorough. They cleaned up after themselves and were very reasonable with their pricing. I would give a 5+ if I could. I highly recommend them for your dryer duct cleaning needs and will certainly use again."

Small jobs welcome

"These guys are Great! I reached out to them on Yelp and they responded right away. They were able to quote me a price for power was my house and stuck to that price, no surprises. I scheduled the cleaning and had an unexpected trip come up and has to cancel. They were great about it and followed up with me to see if there was anything they could do; which was great, because life got in the way and I totally forgot to reschedule. Will definitely be calling on them again to do some other jobs that need to get done soon!"

"Greg did a fantastic job cleaning out our dryer vent. He took the time to show me how the dryer was performing before and after the cleaning, and getting all that lint out made a big difference! I will definitely have him out next time the vent needs cleaning."

"Voda Cleaning & Restoration is an excellent company to work with!. John, the owner responded quickly to my request for service & was able to accommodate my tight schedule. Isac, the technician who came to clean my rugs & sectional couch was wonderful to have in my home. His communication as to arrival time was very considerate. Isac explained my options for protecting the rug & couch after cleaning as we have a dog who loves sleeping on the couch…. When the job was finished, my rug & couch looked new again! I highly recommend Voda Cleaning & Restoration & will definitely use their service again."

Sonic Cleaning questions, answered by experts

Vinegar, bleach, chlorine, barley straw, and a bevy of dedicated algaecides can kill algae, which is the easy part. Preventing algae from returning can be a struggle for some homeowners, but keeping the patio well-maintained and clean is a good first step.

Yes, gable vents can let water in. That being said, this usually only occurs during extreme conditions like heavy rainfall. You can prevent water from entering through gable vents by adding a screen that traps the water before it can enter.

Yes, algae-resistant shingles will prevent algae and moss growth, providing double protection for your roof and roof flashing. The copper-infused granules on algae-resistant shingles release copper ions that inhibit plant growth in general, so moss will have a harder time growing on your roof, too. Keep in mind that copper ions flowing off your roof during rainfall can also inhibit plant growth below, so your gardens and grass may be affected.

You should avoid using a pressure washer on any surface or item that could be damaged by the high-pressure spray, as some materials are too delicate to withstand the force.

Key items and surfaces to avoid include:

  • Electrical Components: Never pressure wash electrical systems, as water can cause short-circuits and create a safety hazard. This includes utility meters, breaker boxes, electrical outlets, generators, and HVAC or air conditioner units.

  • Delicate and Fragile Materials: Fragile items can crack, shatter, or be stripped by the pressure. Avoid pressure washing windows, glass, light fixtures, shingled roofs (especially asphalt), and stucco.

  • Painted, Stained, or Sealed Surfaces: Unless your goal is to strip the finish, do not pressure wash painted surfaces, stained wood (like decks), or anything with a protective seal that could be stripped away. Be especially cautious with older surfaces that may contain lead paint.

  • Soft Woods and Certain Decking: Delicate surfaces like softwood, composite decking, and antique or wooden patio furniture can be etched or damaged. If you must wash wood, use a lower-powered pressure washer with a wide-angle nozzle to prevent damage.

  • Living Things: Never use a pressure washer on people, pets, or plants. The force can cause serious injury and will destroy landscaping.

Inspect for debris, clean drains, and regularly check for punctures or cracks to maintain performance.
