"Adam did an excellent job cleaning the house. It smells great here. He cleaned our kitchen very nicely and took care of all the surfaces and under the bed and left the house smelling good feeling good. He’s a very nice guy and has an excellent bedside manner. He brings his own products and supplies and cleaning implements, which is also a plus. Totally professional. Would use again."

Small jobs welcome

"These guys are Great! I reached out to them on Yelp and they responded right away. They were able to quote me a price for power was my house and stuck to that price, no surprises. I scheduled the cleaning and had an unexpected trip come up and has to cancel. They were great about it and followed up with me to see if there was anything they could do; which was great, because life got in the way and I totally forgot to reschedule. Will definitely be calling on them again to do some other jobs that need to get done soon!"

"Greg did a fantastic job cleaning out our dryer vent. He took the time to show me how the dryer was performing before and after the cleaning, and getting all that lint out made a big difference! I will definitely have him out next time the vent needs cleaning."

"Voda Cleaning & Restoration is an excellent company to work with!. John, the owner responded quickly to my request for service & was able to accommodate my tight schedule. Isac, the technician who came to clean my rugs & sectional couch was wonderful to have in my home. His communication as to arrival time was very considerate. Isac explained my options for protecting the rug & couch after cleaning as we have a dog who loves sleeping on the couch…. When the job was finished, my rug & couch looked new again! I highly recommend Voda Cleaning & Restoration & will definitely use their service again."

Sonic Cleaning questions, answered by experts

You may become so frustrated with the look of moss on your roof that you contemplate whether to clean or replace your roof. Fortunately, you don’t have to go as far as replacing it. After cleaning the moss, you can use a chemical solution to keep it away. For further protection, trim branches that overhang the roof, as fallen seed pods and leaves on the roof allow moisture to collect, encouraging moss growth. Consider adding zinc-coated flashing to the roof, too. As rain washes across the zinc, it leaves zinc particles behind that inhibit moss growth.

Leaving a significant amount of snow on your roof can be risky. Most roofs are designed to handle about 20 pounds per square foot of snow, but exceeding this limit can lead to a roof collapse. A collapse can cause severe damage to your home and belongings and poses a physical danger to anyone inside. Furthermore, heavy snow accumulation increases the risk of ice dams, which can cause leaks and water damage to your roof, attic, and interior walls.

In most cases, it is best to leave icicles on your roof and allow them to melt naturally. You should only remove them if they are heavy enough to cause damage to your home or pose a safety risk to people below. Attempting to remove icicles yourself can be dangerous, so if you are concerned about immediate damage, it is recommended to hire a professional. To prevent icicles from recurring, you should address the underlying cause, which is often poor insulation. Long-term solutions include improving your home's insulation or installing roof heating coils.

Both bleach and vinegar are effective at killing and removing moss from surfaces like driveways. Bleach tends to have a longer-lasting effect, potentially keeping moss away for up to a year, whereas vinegar may require more frequent applications. However, vinegar is a non-chemical option that is gentler on the environment. A key consideration is the surface you are treating, as both substances can stain or discolor certain paver materials. It is recommended to test the solution on a small, inconspicuous area first to ensure it doesn't cause damage.

To keep your PVC roof in top condition, keep it clear of debris, ensure drainage systems are working properly, and inspect it for damage regularly. Keeping the roof clear of ponding water, sharp debris, and other hazards will prevent damage. Have your roof inspected by a professional once a year to ensure the seams aren’t damaged or separated—faulty seams can lead to destructive water intrusion.
